Good for ol' "Millaray" as Manny used to call him. Looks like he is in better shape now than he was in his playing days.

That's awesome. The catcher appeared to be smiling when he took his mask off, the 1B too.

My question--how did he have a handshake ready to go with that guy?

That was Millar's and Manny's handshake. He taught it to the catcher ("that guy") in the dugout earlier in the day.

Edit: I only know this because I saw a video of Millar's day with the team, and that was featured. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find that same video again, even via browsing history...so I may have hallucinated the whole thing.

I'm just thankful no spectators on the third base line needed medical attention. And I am shocked Millar hit one out without the requisite 45 foul rockets pulled down the line.

I bet they were downright merciless to that pitcher when he got back in the dugout.
