2nd period was a tire fire, but that was an excellent 3rd.

Huge win. Kudos to Khudobin, he came up big in the 2nd period.

Real nice to get wins out of your backup goalie.

Megathread back again?

I thought "Let's Go Bruibs" might be this year's silly rallying cry (I make no claims that it is anywhere near "Protect the Civic"). Megathreads got more wins though, and I'm opting to go with wins. I vote megathreads.

As the source of the Bruibs thing, let's just let that die. Especially considering I was the last one to start a game thread in the Claude era, and I ended up getting him fired.

Megathreads are better than Bruibs. But Megathreads also suck.

Also, if everyone isn't listening to the Spittin' Chiclets podcast from Barstool, you should. Great hockey talk on there with Rear Admiral and Ryan Whitney. It's a bit whacky at times but the guests they get are great.

This week's had Taylor Hall in studio with them for the whole episode and I found it fascinating. Good stories and also interesting to hear him and Whitney just act like friends reminiscing about old times (they were roommates in Edmonton). Also crazy to think that Hall will be a UFA in 3 years with 11 years experience and will only be 28.

In prior seasons, the B's have gained a bunch of momentum from fight-filled games against Dallas.

Good puck handling through traffic/pressure by Pastrnak.
Fantastic awareness of the passing lanes by Bergeron along with getting to the spot that both passes were available.
And great job by Marchand to get open so he could bury a high percentage shot.

Woo Krecji!

Real nice patience by Cehlarik at the end of a shift to find Krug for an opportunity instead of just chucking it deep and getting a change

I hope he can start scoring because I absolutely love his game.
