The little town of Bethlehem.
A designed play?

“Uh, I don’t know,” said Bruce Cassidy, who only took charge of the club two weeks ago when the Bruins canned ourthlong-time coach Claude Julien. “I’m not going to lie to you. They have a lot of plays — Krug, Bergy, and March. So I suspect it was.”

Truth is, according to Marchand, it was not a planned play off the draw.

Something that simple doesn't have to be a 'planned'play- just an awareness by Marchy to fly the zone and Krug to put it out. Pretty basic face off move.

Anyone know of a good resource for OT lines? I want to make the statement "Bergeron-Marchand-Krug" is probably top 5 in terms of OT lines, but I have no way to verify. I'm betting Toews-Kane-whomever from Chicago is fantastic, and I bet Crosby-anyone-anyone and McDavid-anyone-anyone are also in the mix as well.

Closest proxy is past two years' 3v3 data:

Marchand basically said as much in the postgame as well. He saw that the D was playing on the boards so he flew the zone. I imagine he and Krug were on the same page or at least Krug had his head up and saw he just needed to throw it to some open space.

B's fell out of the playoff picture last night as basically everyone around them won.

It's crazy how tight the Atlantic Division and 2nd WC race is. B's are 6 points out from the division lead; only 8 points clear of the cellar. The 2nd wild card is currently a 3-way tie between FLA, B's, and NYI. Florida has the tie breaker having played 1 less game. It's nuts.

This 4 game run the B's have been on has at least kept them in the playoff conversation as the teams around them made up the games in hand. They've got to keep the foot on the gas though, they have no margin for error in the final 23.

I usually watch the first period, then during the intermission say I'll just rest my eyes. Then the alarm goes off in the morning.

I watch the first period; then listen on radio. I usually make it through the second, and hope a Gaucher scream -- if, say, Marchand were to score an OT game winner -- will wake me up thereafter

They missed Pastrnak blatantly getting hauled down earlier in the period too.
