An awful beginning to the year, but (hopefully) he remembers that he has a lot of talent.

Yeah I saw that. I really hope he takes his time and just comes back healthy.
I mean the Masters isn't until April, so I still have a small hope he can play.
His overall health by summer is more important for anything else.
Do the points count toward the season or just a single weekly bet winner takes the pot and then we start the season?
Thats what I thought, just wanted to confirm. I only have 3 guys going, but i never shy away from gambling.

Here is the rule for the $5 tournament.
Everyone who sends me $5 via paypal by 12pm ET Thursday 1/26 is in. No money received, you're not in, absolutely no exceptions regardless of what you've posted in here. I'll post the list tomorrow morning to confirm who is paid up so far.
I think we should either just make it top 7 round picks per team or allow people to finish their 8th round picks by Friday or something and have them still count. Let me know if anyone has major preferences either way. I will make the call before noon tomorrow which way we go.

I don't think this one off tournament is going to influence the drafting, so I have no problem allowing people to complete their 8th round pick and letting it count.
If we don't get the 8th round in by Sunday, then we'll go with 7.

The idea that golf - fucking golf - could cripple you if you play too much has to be one of the most out-of-touch observations I've ever heard from a professional sports participant. (note: any sport that includes Tim Herron is not an athletic endeavor.)
