i hear ya...i looked at everything but what have the other rookies done so far in the same fields?...he won.....and at this stage in the draft i bet a lot of these guys being taken will miss their fair share of cuts
Totally get it. I was more probably trying to rationalize to myself I made a good decision to pass. Rounds 4-8 are crap shoots. I got lucky last year with Roberto Castro in round 8 I believe and he played to a top 25 spot in our league. It is just incredibly tough to predict what these guys will do, however the best way to play it is with lots of tournaments and Cody will play the max.

Do we get bonus points for completing trick shot viral videos after they miss cuts?

WESLEY BRYAN

*hope I spelled his first name correct, wouldn't want the Cleveland Browns of this league chirping the pick.

Seems about the right time to take him. Of course, he probably retired from golf or something last month, and I just don't know about it:

Yeah, the last 6 picks or so were exactly the guys I was looking at with my picks.

Smith interests me, but he is weird. He has been hyped as a big time player in the past, and has had success on the Asian tour, and his big run at the Open. On the other hand, he is one of those guys who doesn't really have a big tool, so I am just not sure he'll ever be more than a 50-80 guy, but if I get a 50 guy at pick 102 I'll be thrilled.

Actually I guess that is true of most of the past 6-7 picks. Guys who can be decent 50-80 players on the tour, but none of them have that one big tool that the elite players have (and yes I know the real elite players have more than one big tool)

While we pause ....

So are we gonna finally do a meet up this year? I think there are a few of us in the Boston area. I can do anything between providence and Boston.

I'm 100% in. I might be looking into a membership at Spring Valley in Sharon and I know someone else in this league is a member, maybe that could be a option.

Or we could all go to Zomp's club.

You might want to wait until they settle that whole real estate issue haha.

Really?? Two members??

I'm a member at Franklin. We should play.

I'm in the Danbury, CT area and would love to host people at my club. (Which is actually across the border in North Salem, NY.)

Or I could come up to one of your clubs. Either way, I'm in.

I may be in for a golf outing but can't commit. Wife is due in May with our first so I'm not sure how much I'll get out.

Haha like I said - I'm looking into it.

I'm up to play anywhere almost any weekend.
