I have my next pick ready to go, but I want to make sure my previous pick was okay. It is tough to do on a phone and my workplace blocks gmail.

As I just moved to San Francisco a little bit ago, I will take the guy on my list from Berkeley. It is probably way too early.
I take MICHAEL KIM

As we move into the back half might be worth it to after someone who plays a mostly European schedule and a bit of a high risk high reward. And he's fun.

Motherfucker, you son of a bitch, haha. I had just talked myself into him. Well, that makes this a little easier then.

I almost considered someone else last minute but I'm sticking with my gut this year. I almost picked him last round too and pleasantly surprised he made it back to me despite having talked myself into Hughes. Let's hope he breaks out this season.

Lahiri was my second choice.

I swear everyone is basically picking from the same list/approach at this point.

Really good pick. He should be good this year.

Here's my definition of fantasy golf draft panic.

I left the office last night and packed up all the files I would need until Tuesday. (I'm out of the office until then at meetings.) Knowing that it's almost my turn in the draft, I got up at 5 am to check this thread ... and discovered that the one file I left at the office was my printed rankings with all of my notes by round.

I won't even go through the mental gymnastics I went through except to say that the idea of driving to the office at 5 am just to get that file did cross my mind. ("I don't even have to get dressed. Just put on a baseball cap, go right to the office in sweats, get the file, come home, take a shower and I should be able to make the 8 am meeting.")

Anyway, I printed out a cheat sheet and updated the list so I know who is available, and I've even got two choices highlighted for when ez steals my pick ...

I'm very impressed by the dedication
Ha! Was less about dedication and more about the realization that I was going to be without any info (or tracking of who is available) through the next two and maybe three rounds.

If my team is going to suck, I'd like that suck to be strategic and not random.

See, that's your mistake. Last year I went with the strategic sucking, this year I'm going for random sucking. It's much better this year because I'll have an excuse.

guess i'll continue the young guy run.....not sure why/how everyone has passed over this guy as he notched a win already qualifying himself for the PGA and TPC, and collected a lot of fedex points setting himself up for a possible deep run come late summer.....i may now hold the distinction of first and only team to ever have two lefties on the team......without further ado CODY GRIBBLE

He was the guy I was going back and forth with. He has had a heck of a run so far, but also these early tournaments can be low level fields for the PGA. For instance he was just cut from the Sony Open a tournament where everyone went low, and had the best field of the year. I went back and looked at his 2016 on the Web.com tour and to see that he was cut from 15 out of 24 events scared me. All in all I hope I don't kick myself for passing him as I was very close to typing his name.

i hear ya...i looked at everything but what have the other rookies done so far in the same fields?...he won.....and at this stage in the draft i bet a lot of these guys being taken will miss their fair share of cuts
