That seems fine when CCGs are the day before MLK Day, but would be pretty annoying when it's not, like last year.

EDIT: Divisional playoffs, duh. Are they always the day before?

They were lucky the game didn't have to move to Monday. There is a reason you never want the last flight out. In case anything goes wrong you have some cushion. NFL is choosing to take the last flight. Most of the time it works out, but when it doesn't.

Not sure I understand your point. Do you mean if the storm was later they'd have had to move the Pitt/KC game to Monday? Or wouldn't they have moved it to noon, if possible, and if not possible then it goes to Monday no matter when on Sunday it was scheduled?

In 2014 (well, January 2015) the championship games were the day before MLK Day

They will move the divisional round to 4pm/8pm start times on Sundays regardless of MLK day coming next. It's one of the last 4 football games of the year, they will get eyeballs regardless of having Monday off.

Any truth to the rumors, that they will move regular season traditional Sunday 1PM ET games to 4:30PM, and 4:25PM games to 8PM ET , and the 8:20 Sunday Night (trademark) game will be moved to the morning, 11AM ET 8AM PT, to be called Sunday Morning football?

The clocks will all run backwards
All the sheep will have two heads
And Thursday night and Friday
Will be on Tuesday night instead

+1 for the World Party lyrics.
Yet another reminder for me that the mix of backgrounds, interests, careers, and expertise of regular poster's is what makes this place both informative and interesting.
