I think it was clean. Hall stayed compact and never extended or targeted. He just went straight through a guy who had no idea it was coming.

So the NHL's trademark application for "Vegas Golden Knights" was denied by the government. Apparently there is College of St. Rose Golden Knights out there that the government deemed too similar.

I'm sure the league/Foley will pay off the school for permission to use the name, but amusing nontheless. They probably should've had all their I's and T's dotted before their big reveal.

Does he get any suspension for this? He made 4 equipment-on punches on a guy who was down on the ice and being held down by another player for the last 3.
Given that its clearly defined in the rule book as having should have been a match penalty on Price, I fully expect the DoPS to suspend Palmeiri, because NHL. Oh, and Habs.

PITTSBURGH — Now it makes sense that Rick Nash played only the first 37 seconds of overtime in the Blueshirts’ 3-2 shootout victory over the Devils on Sunday at the Garden.

That is because Nash, clearly the Blueshirts’ best player in his three games since returning from the groin injury he suffered in Brooklyn on Dec. 6, pulled the other side of his groin on that OT shift, The Post has learned.

Nash will be sidelined for an unknown period of time, beginning with Tuesday’s showdown against the Penguins, whom the Rangers lead by two points in the battle for first place in the Metro Division, though Pittsburgh holds two games in hand.

The Hurricanes signed their equipment manager to be the backup emergency goalie. 37 years old and hadn't played in a real game in 10 years. Also was a former club player in college.

Update:
They played him the last 8 seconds of a 3-1 loss. He faced no shots, but played real NHL ice time.
