Worlds End
Bergy is snake bit.
what do you think the story is with this? He definitely can't seem to buy one these days, and he looks to be the same guy he always has been. He's playing good hockey. I wonder if due to the more offensive nature of both of his wings this year he hasn't taken it upon himself to be even more defensive minded? I have no evidence to support that, just a thought?

I think it is mostly puck luck, and maybe the injuries early on slowed him a tad. He is shooting 4.8% this season and his career average is 10.1%. He's getting 3.4 shots per game, which is right around his normal rate. The chances are there, the puck just isn't going in. He had 2 or 3 of those one timed snap shots from the lower circle last night that Pickard stopped. They usually go in for him, but they aren't this year. He's the same old possession monster, 63% CF which is the best in the league (63/37/88 are 1-2-3 in the league). As you said, it seems like the same old Bergy to me.
