So did I - Pedro had 3 walks in that game. I was in Cleveland for that game.
Sometimes when I'm feeling down, I'll fire up that old video. Somewhere halfway through Pedro's General-Sherman-esque march through the Cleveland lineup, they cut to a bunch of Cleveland fans looking like they either were about to barf or just had barfed. Some were staring off into the distance like they went to their happy place; children were crying inconsolably. In, like, the 7th inning. It was quite possibly the most depressed I have ever seen a group of fans - their fate sealed even with 3 innings left.

I can only imagine the glee you must have felt being there in person. Once the initial "how the hell is he DOING this?" shock wore off, I'm sure the next phase of "he's really DOING this!" was a blast.

I was at game 2 of that series. Should have gotten one to game 5. After the bloodbath of the first 3 innings, it was amazing. Me and my older bro took turns calling each other up saying "can you fucking believe this?"

Edit- seriously, you could see he was still hurting, throwing sidearm. It didn't matter.

how does he need a second clearance to play the field? he's on the roster and he goes in play. is there some law being violated here?

where I was last at
The Cubs won 101 of their 103 wins without Schwarber's bat. Somehow they might be able to get by, particularly when the Indians are also going to lose their DH for the Wrigley games.

Lateral movement in the field is trickier on the knee than hitting / running straight.

Also Hayward is worthless
