And there you go. Defense too good. It forces these mistakes.

I wish that the ball would have just hit him in the face without the dpi. I hate PI, I think it ruins games and would have ruined that game had it been awarded, but that grab was worth 15 yards and a first down. And frankly, I feel like a whim bitxh even writing that, but......fuck.

OSU is still in if they win out barring Bama/Clemson/Washington/West Virginia all going undefeated. And would the committee really take WVU in the worst Big 12 ever with no CCG over OSU?

I think an undefeated team has an argument, but I don't expect they'll be four of them come December. But I think they'd take Louisville over both of them. But Houston losing today is going to effect Louisville's strength of opponents or whatever they call it.

Not sure if everyone saw this. Quite possible the weakest targeting call I've ever seen. The called this targeting, reviewed it, confirmed, and kicked the kid out. Unless there is something about the rule I'm missing, this is bad.

Is anyone else watching this Oklahoma/Texas Tech game? The teams just broke the FBS record for combined total yardage, way north of 1,500 yards. Mahomes has over 720 yards passing and over 80 yards rushing and broke the FBS record for total yards in a game. He has 51 completions on like 85 passes, both close to records if they aren't already. Mayfield has like 550 yards and 7td's. Mixon has 5 td's rushing and receiving and like 350 yards from scrimmage.

Oh, Oklahoma is leading 66-52 with 2 minutes left, Texas Tech about to score.

Mahomes just tied the NCAA record for passing yards in a game with 734. Came on his 5th td. Probably an onside kick coming up. Would love to see these teams get to OT. Both of them will probably score over 100 points if they do.

The Houston loss is a killer for Louisville. Assuming they don't make the ACCCG, their best win will have been over FSU. If OSU wins out, they'll have beaten Oklahoma and Wisconsin on the road, Nebraska and Michigan and then likely either Wisconsin or Nebraska again.

Fournette has 16 carries for 284 yards and three td's. All of the TD's were of the long distance variety, one was like 57 yards and the other two were 75+ each. Welcome back. LSU would have been a different team if he had stayed healthy.

It's almost useless to speculate. I'd take Louisville over OSU if they were to play, but I doubt that's how the committee thinks. But if you remember all the pundits had Bama 1 last year and the committee kept Clemson 1 because they were undefeated. So they do value the wins which might come into play if Washington or WVU wins out.

Both teams finish with 854 yards, for a total of 1,708 combined yards of offense. 78 combined first downs ties the NCAA record. Just a ludicrous game.

I was about twenty yards downfield from this play and I couldn't believe my eyes when the flag came out. They kept showing the replay in the stadium as it was being reviewed and I thought they would overturn it. I understand the rule and I guess this fits the definition of it technically. With that being said what are d-backs supposed to do? Awful, needs to be tweaked. I'm not sure how, but plays like this are not why the rule was created.

Honestly, almost any time I see a targeting call, my reaction is this isn't why the rule was created. And they went to replay, and didn't overturn this?

I think the rule is terrible. It may have had a reason when it was first implemented, and I'll admit there have been cases where i have seen it applied properly. Just the fact that there is a mandatory video review of every call shows you there is no confidence in the officials to make the call, and yet it still is frequently miscalled, and then not overturned
