The best analysis of this election cycle.

His BLOG - pick a post, read it, brilliant stuff. Be careful, if you read too many, you'll be voting for Trump in November.

Just brilliant stuff. Here are a couple posts I picked and read:

On the surface, and several layers deep as well, Trump appears to be a narcissistic blow-hard with inadequate credentials to lead a country.

The only problem with my analysis is that there is an eerie consistency to his success so far. Is there a method to it? Is there some sort of system at work under the hood?

Probably yes. Allow me to describe some of the hypnosis and persuasion methods Mr. Trump has employed on you.

As most of you know, I had been endorsing Hillary Clinton for president, for my personal safety, because I live in California. It isn’t safe to be a Trump supporter where I live. And it’s bad for business too. But recently I switched my endorsement to Trump, and I owe you an explanation.
It's almost like he spent so much time researching how Trump was brainwashing the masses, he failed to prevent himself from succumbing to the powers of the Grand Master Wizard Donald.

Hasn't this dude been an MRA-lite pissbaby for a while now? The fact he thought he was fooling anyone with this "I was endorsing Hillary Clinton until now" nonsense is hilarious.

He said he was endorsing Clinton for his own safety, in California it's unsafe to declare your support for Trump. He says he has gotten many "direct and indirect death threats".

Exactly. Which is what Trump has been doing all along.

A particularly good blog post of his.

Yes, that is exactly the cockamamie hypnosis theory that luckiestman was mocking in his post.

He said he was endorsing Clinton for his own safety, in California it's unsafe to declare your support for Trump.
He's out of his gourd delusional (which the link you posted should be enough to demonstrate).

1.6 million Californians voted for Trump in the primary. Dozens of celebrities and politicians more prominent than Scott Adams have declared their Trump support.

The roving bands of liberals going from house to house murdering trump supporters are a welcomed part of California's unique brand of cool.

Is the Scott Adams running for something in California? It's weird that people are apparently talking about him in other states as well.

"This weekend I got “shadowbanned” on Twitter."

"At around the same time, a bottom-feeder at Slate wrote a hit piece on me that had nothing to do with anything. Except obviously it was politically motivated."

"The one and only speaking gig I had on my calendar for the coming year cancelled yesterday because they decided to “go in a different direction.” I estimate my opportunity cost from speaking events alone to be around $1 million. That’s based on how the rate of offers went from several per month (for decades) to zero this year. Blogging about Trump is expensive."

I feel for the guy. I, too, wish I could write anything I pleased and publicize it widely, without regard for the consequences.

Adams' eagerness to talk about "testosterone levels" and dole out sex advice while marveling at his "perfectly functioning knees" is creepy as shit.

Man, I would hate to read what Dogbert has to say about all this (in about three years)!

It's going to be some real biting (HA! Dog pun!) satire, I'd wager. Really stick these liberals in their place.

Reminds me of John Derbyshire.

(another person that probably shouldn't be in this forum).

Maybe the part where he blames women, only women, for what he believes is the coming end of the Union, and implying that their desire to vote for Clinton isn't supported by any "facts".

But I'm a man, so I guess I'm to blame for Trump, somehow.

What was in the Adams article that you find offensive?
Everything going forward is the fault of women?

538 is making a factual observation. Adams is making a value judgement, of the gendered take-your-balls and go home variety.

It's gendered only because it's women who are swinging the election to Clinton. Adams' second point is that everything that goes wrong will be the fault of women (the ones turning the election). Adams is saying, essentially, "congratulations, you've won. You've got the power. But now everything that happens is on you." Sort of a modern day Pontius Pilate washing his hands before Clinton supporters and saying that the blood will be on their hands.

Of course, that's simply wrong. Partisans tend to overstate the importance of the presidency, because they internalize the popularity contest. They are more interested in being popular, liked, respected, and on the winning tribe than they are in using the relatively modest power of the presidency to achieve concrete policy goals. But I don't see how that is being deplorable.

I think you'd be on stronger ground making the case for Adams being deplorable if you stuck with his comments about the octopus.
