The Ryder Cup is just so much fun. It would be more fun if the United States could actually win it once in a while. Reed and Spieth need to hang on for this point.
U.S. misses by an inch, Europe putting it center. Seems like that's how it goes for the last decade. If Europe takes a half or a point here, I bet they'll ride the momentum to a Saturday night lead going to singles.
Yep, right after you posted it. The only thing you were wrong about was the US missing by an inch. Spieth's putt missed by much less than that.
When is the last time in ten years the US missed a putt just barely that Europe didn't bomb one right down the center? It could be 80 feet. Doesn't matter. They are ice and money.
This is so demoralizing. I have a hard time imagining anything better than a 3-1 loss this afternoon.
It's kind of interesting from a psychological angle. The U.S. plays like you think golfers sometimes would in this kind of pressure environment. You would think it would balance out. But somehow when Europe gets together as a team, they just defy expectations and play better than the sum of their parts. They never buckle.
And the pants are on.
I'm a little sick to my stomach. I hope I'm wrong about the afternoon pairings, because I don't like them at all. DLove sucks. The US sucks. You all suck.

Well... At least the US is still ahead. Though this feels incredibly tenuous, and it wouldn't surprise me if Europe ends up winning the Cup by 4+ points.
Overall, I would've taken a 5.5-2.5 foursomes record at the beginning of the week. Obviously extremely disappointing to be only up a point after the morning sweep yesterday. We really need something to happen here in four ball.
