why are golfchannel.com and rydercup.com only showing the speith / reed match?

edit: nm... just bad timing on the switch over to golf channel on my part!

The reaction of the crowd to every good American shot and bad Euro shot is really disorienting since I'm trying to pretend I'm working with the Ryder Cup on a different screen and one headphone in my ear. Like the start by the US so far though.

I left the office and went home. Weekend has begun. It isn't impossible to watch in the office but it's easier at home because I can jack up the volume. Win!

Nice shot Sergio. Crowd was sad.

I was completely indifferent to the Ryder Cup this year until I happened to turn on the TV at home just in time to see the first pairings hit off the first tee. Now I'm absolutely hooked. The crowd is great, the course looks fabulous and the golfers are terrific. It's such a wonderful format. Now I'm pissed that I can't watch it at work.

Good timing you two... =) as he pushes one right off the tee!

Peters needs to lose the hat, do a shot or two, and relax.
He's a mess. And up against a brutal duo. He definitely sits in the afternoon and questionable if he sees the course again until Sunday (although that might put a dagger in his confidence).

Phil and Ricky are having an absolute adventure on #6 right now. They should just save time and pick up now.
I was standing next to Phil when he hit that shot righty. Was pretty cool.

It's impossible to see anything here. Posted up at the 16th green with the video board and Ryder cup radio headphones so it's almost like being on my couch.

Is it worth it? Is the atmosphere so awesome that it's ok to "miss" the golf?

Fun matchups for Sunday would include:

Sergio vs. Reed (both made for this)
Spieth vs. McIroy
DJ vs Kaymer
Mickelson vs. Stenson
Kuchar vs. Rose
Fowler vs. Fitzpatrick (match play gurus)
JB vs. Pieters (I guess? Both big hitters)
Moore vs. Wood (get it?)

So far yes but talk to me on sunday afternoon. The noise and the vibe here is unreal.
I think everyone has to experience a big-time golf atmosphere if you're into the game. I've been to a few PGA events including the Tour Championship pre-FedEx Cup days but I have to believe not much can compare to a Ryder Cup. Sunday at the Masters and US Open if it's a tight leaderboard are the only events I think that can even come close to comparison.

Actually, swap Kaymer and Rose... DJ/Rose and Kuch/Kaymer

I was at the final round of the 1st PGA at Whistling Straits. It was awesome on 18 with the last group and for the playoff. But I don't know how that atmosphere/size of crowd would be on every hole all day.

Get ready to listen to Brandel talk all afternoon about how Europe's going to win because Phil's leadership is still lacking.

Despite US historical struggles out of the gate in past, 2-2 after Friday morning would feel like a loss imo...

Zach Johnson hasn't done a lot of great things today. Rather see Moore and Holmes out there than Zach and Walker. Weak pairing.

Problem is that ZJ, if he's going to play at all, probably needs to play foursomes. The simple fact is that the point system gave ZJ's win in the Open last year so much weight that he qualified for the team despite not doing much at all in 2016. He's not in great form. Agree totally on Moore being out there instead. He's playing so well right now.
