Lost in all the Stork hubbub is today's biggest news: @mascho and I wrote a piece for the Washington Post Sports section. Well, Mark wrote it; I just contributed a few stats, but he magnanimously let me share co-author credit.

This is a big milestone for Inside the Pylon. BBtL obviously played a huge role in getting the site off the ground and we appreciate all the support through the years. Thanks, and we hope you to continue to check out what we're doing.

Yeah, this place was critical to us getting up and running, and you guys have always been supportive of what we've been doing. Thanks for reading all the stuff, retweeting articles, etc. We all really appreciate it.

This is great... And Bezos' check probably has a better chance of clearing that that from most newspapers

Everyone's thinking it, I'll say it:

:beatit::beatit::beatit::beatit::beatit::beatit::beatit::beatit::beatit:

But seriously, that's phenomenal!

One of the cooler things about this: We discovered this afternoon that in addition to the article appearing online, the Post actually printed the article in on D2 in the Sports section for today's paper.

That's beyond awesome guys. And if Washington Post wants to sponsor an article where someone documents binge drinking at a tailgate with some friends, just let me know.

It was a great article (of course), so I went to the comment section to see if anyone was noticing how advanced and novel the analysis was.

Nope. Just idiots arguing about the Post having an obsession with ex-Redskins and other idiots being like, "why you care bro."
