I hope no one minds my starting a new photo thread.  I didn't see that one had already been started.  I had a chance to be at the pre-game and an early part of the game yesterday.  I couldn't stay for the whole game, due to some family obligations, but thoroughly enjoyed the day - the weather, that beautiful green field, all of the parts to the pre-game ceremony and then that game!  It just doesn't get much better than yesterday.

So, here are a few snaps from yesterday...first, I liked this sign painted on a wall at one of the T stops, so had to snap a pic:

A wide angle view of the scene from my seat:

The Krafts, Belichick, and Tom Brady emerge from underneath the flag with the four Lombardi trophies:

Tom Brady gets ready to throw out the ceremonial first pitch:

The very emotional tribute to Pete Frates:

Pedro Martinez on his way to greet the Frates family:

And my only halfway decent game pic came early...hopefully, Kelly will have some to add, as I'm pretty sure she was there too:

I'd love to see more pics from some of our other SoSHers....it's always so much fun to see what everyone had a chance to capture.

Thanks for starting this, Anne! Gorgeous work. Love Pedro hopping over the lines!

I had a bit lower angle on some of the same subjects.

Missed the Mookie catch thanks to the tall fellow in front of me standing up to see better, but did better with the steals.

About to edit a few more... now that my taxes are done (oops).

Thanks!

I was using a Canon 7Dii with the old model Canon 100-400mm f/4.5/5.6 lens. Works well for sitting in the stands for a day game--it's not too big to handhold or to keep out of the way of fellow fans, it provides a good zoom range to reach the field (especially on a crop sensor body), and the light's not that much of an issue.

Awesome work.  You guys' pictures are so much fun for those of us who are stuck thousands of miles away from the games.  Thank you for continuing to let us see them!

There it is. Brady's shoes were probably too slippery, hence, the wayward pitch.  :)

Great pix from both of you here, and Mookie looks badass when he's doing 100% stuff (all the time).

Too late in the season to start a 2016 thread, so here are some shots from wicked early yesterday:

Not seen: Dozens of seagulls flying around within the stadium bowl (you can see one on the right in the below pic)

Looking up at Old Glory before the Run to Home Base

Looking up at Baltimore. For now.

Through a slot on the Monster

Goal: Touch this more than the other guys.
