I don't think they'll do much. A second tier RW is my guess, and perhaps a Liles (or Liles equivalent) signing.
Kris Russell is totally geting Krug money from the Bruins today. I already have my booze poured so I can deal with it.
I haven't seen any smoke around the B's and Demers, but I suppose it is possible. It fills a need, but I feel like his contract will be crazy.
Sounds like Campbell is going to Chicago but I would love the Bs to sign him to a 1 year big money deal. They have the cap space and it wouldn't interfere with Marchand etc resignings

Not really. If Chiarelli were here I would be. I think Don is committed to the young guys in the bottom 6 forwards.
I would take Demers for the right price. I don't think the right price will be in play today though.

Any idea what happened to Brandon Gormley? He was considered a steal when he was drafted a few years ago and just turned 24 in Feb. Not much experience but was productive in AHL. Not an ideal fit as a LH shot but can't see the downside in a signing if he comes cheap.

Fully expect to hear the terms "hard to play against", "jam", "sandpapery" and "warrior" in describing the Bruins signing Nicklas Grossmann.
I'd pay Backes 3/20 if that would get it done. I haven't heard too many rumors about what he's asking for and/or teams. Then trade Krejci and a 1st for a D if he has any value.
Good. Backes and Okposo are the only free agents I am interested in. We need to trade for a top 2 D.
If they sign Backes, I'd like them to explore possible trades for a top 2 or 3 defenseman for Krejci. I feel there is a deal to be had there around him and Trouba. Winnipeg needs someone like Krejci, IMO, if he is healthy. Backes provides depth at Center, and is the type of guy they like anyways.
I think all of this is right. And I think that squad is an EC contender.
That's an underrated kind of good move. Keeping Subban and McIntyre in the AHL, getting semi-regular PT is better than one of them backing up Rask and getting maybe 20 games this season.
Yeah, neither one was ready to be a backup. They both need more time to develop.
