I understand that Portugal is playing pretty defensively, but Croatia has Ben really poor. World class players missing passes they make in their sleep.

Started with Strinić falling down and losing possession then not getting back. Tough to blame Vida for me as he had to cover for LB and CB

I spent he day at the zoo with my wife, nieces, and nephew. Got home at minute 113. Looks like I worked it perfect. Ballsy of Fernando Santos to swap out 4 of the usual 11. Especially Moutinho, who has been ineffective (Hopefully due to rust and lack of conditioning from spending so much time injured this season).

The two largest ethnic groups in my hometown are Portuguese and Polish. They should put a giant screen in the Big Y parking lot and have a party during the quarterfinal.

I was not impressed by Adrien but he probably had instructions that led to Modric being so invisible. I suspect Moutinho will play the next one but Santos has used a lot of rotation in midfield.

The system just isn't working to create chances for the "strikers" but there's little chance they'll change it now.

France is gonna be OK, as an Arsenal fan I know down 1-0 the striker you want at the tippy-top of your attack, digging deep and making something happen by himself, is Oliv........nevermind.

Uh, Ireland are the better team right now… France will be lucky if they limp into the first half down one.

Edit: not in response to sachmoney

This is Ireland´s game. Sit back, counter. They really have lots of chances - way more than say Poland vs.Switzerland. France is trying to find something, but as said before, they are relying on their individuel skill, not on teamplay, so far. And their defense has lots of trouble (Kos, Rami are average players to me). And Rami and Kanté would be missing from a potential quarterfinal...this is not looking good, but with those superstars, they need just a second to catch lightning in a bottle.

And there it is :(
