Cut line was -2
Rob bogeyed 17 to fall back to -1 but sacked up big and birdied 18 to make the cut. That's a stressful 10-15 minutes.

Weather limited this to a 54 hole tournament, but we have a 3-way playoff here on a Monday morning. Lovemark, An and Stuard.

Right back on the cutline today. Hope Rob can sink a couple and keep making progress. I want to say that this has been the most fun I've had following golf since Tiger. I feel like I have someone to root for again even though I don't know him other than through the posts here. Anyway Go Rob! :)

Bogey on 18 to finish even - 68 people currently at even or better and the projected cut is +1. Time to cross the fingers for a couple hours...

Looks like Rob is playing with Poulter today.
And he had a 79 playing with him. Ouch. Finished +7 -- T71. Looks like a lot of folks had a rough Saturday including a 77 for Poulter (And Gore with an 83 for worst round). But it's another made cut so...

Anyone in the Jacksonville area need grounds passes to The Players first two rounds? My parents can't get hear until Saturday. The PGA thread is pretty dead as the fifth major begins.I have two for the 1st two rounds and will also have one for Saturday. Parents aren't heathy enough to go.

I don't mind the shoes, but the elastic pant bottoms look ridiculous. Rory has them too.

Meanwhile, Scott posts a snowman on 18 here to turn a -3 round into a 73.

Colt Knost is having quite the day as well -9 thru 15. One par 5 left.

Also on the above - I guess I am younger and a rickie fowler fan, but I like the joggers and style he brings to the course. I can't see him wearing that to Augusta, though have no problem with him trying to break the mold in golf fashion.

The crazy thing about Knost's round is he only parred 3/4 par 5's.

Course record is 63. Knost needs to birdie one of the remaining 2, but it is 17-18. Rory is -8 through 11 now with a par 5 left.

Knost rolled in the 13 footer for birdie at 17 to get to -10. Only 18 left now.

He parred 3 out of 4 par 5's, and missed a 5 footer on #4. Great round.

Rory lipped out barely on 6 for birdie and then just stuck his approach to 7 ft for a birdie on 7. He is dialed in today.

And he's making a mess out of 9 to screw up an awesome round.

Rory laid up, then chunked a wedge short from 90 yards. Doesn't look like it is going to happen. He had 271 in on his second shot, fairly stunned he didn't try and get a 3-wood up near the green and try and get up and down. Narrow chute into the green I guess, but no water unless he went way, way right.

And he ends up with a bogey.

Day doubles 6. Game on.
And he was very fortunate it wasn't a triple as his 4th putt was no confidence, and really sucked, barely sneaking in after circling the whole rim before dropping
