Where it rains. No, seriously.
Possibly, but the golf channel guys were saying it's supposed to still be windy as hell tomorrow, so we'll see.
It is blowing just as hard but in the opposite direction, so how they set it up is making it even harder. These guys are looking like 10-handicappers.

Snedeker's round should be the round of the year, may not get the credit it deserves because of the Monday finish for his competition.

right here
Looks like Rob finished birdie birdie to come in at +4 (currently tied 31 and pretty much locked in there)
That's 2 pretty ballsy holes to move him up from 50ish.

Actually, when the horn blew yesterday, he had just finished the 17th hole (actually the 8th holes because he started on the back nine). We thought it would be bad for him to have to go back in, wait overnight, and then go out for one hole today, but it worked out great. He was coming off back to back bogeys on 7 and 8 at that point, and the 9th was the par 5 that they had moved up about 60 yards yesterday, so he was playing it from a flat wind 533 yards, and made birdie. That birdie essentially made him $15,000 and he ended up 31st and took home $33,150, instead of $20,000 or so if he made par yesterday (or probably even less if he made bogey which was likely given those conditions on that hole).

They haven't updated the money list or rankings yet, but I think he'll move up into the top 175 or so on the money list now. Not sure where that leaves him priority wise, but it certainly doesn't hurt. Would love to have those short putts he missed on Thursday and Friday back (would have made around $80,000 if those two had fallen), but he's right there on the cusp of doing something big.

He's already locked in to play at Pebble next week, and his brother, who is one of my close friends, is going to be on the bag. Can't even imagine how cool that would be.

Tell Rob's brother that as a result of your tireless promotion, there are a bunch of guys on a Red Sox web site who follow him on a weekly basis.

And see what you can do about getting the SoSH logo on his bag ...

Rob has known about this group for years. We joke about it every time I see him. He gets a kick out of it. Getting the logo on the bag, or shirt or hat isn't a problem. Getting the funds together to actually do it is probably our only road block. lol

If I were to suspend reality and assume we could get it done, I'd advise Rob not to accept our money unless he wants to be playing in "sponsor outings" across New York/New England on his free weekends.

We're a demanding bunch.

254 yards out, Bubba casually pulls out an iron and flies the green. Insane.

Danny Lee is slowly pulling away. Up 4 right now after this tap in birdie, that eagle would have been big.

Holy crap, how did Fowler's ball land there and not go in the water?

If I had to play this shot, there is a high probability I'd fall right into the drink.

Fowler was too jacked up, he crushed that drive on 16. The missed putt on 15 started this collapse off. Not that it was easy but he had a chance to end it there and didn't.

Sung Kang needs to birdie 18 at Spyglass for a 59.

Yep you're right. And technically it's the 9th hole since he started on the back.

Rob just made four birdies in a row to open the back nine. I think he's on the cut line right now. One more birdie coming in would be HUGE.

Strange, by my count there are exactly 70 at -1 but the guys at E got MDF instead of cut.

Edit: oops I was off by one. That makes sense.
Can someone tell me what MDF stands for and what it means? I was confused that Rob (following this has become my favorite golf story in a while) seemingly made the cut but had a designation that I didn't understand and today he's not playing the 4th round.

Made cut, didn't finish. It generally is used if there is a secondary cut because too many players made the cut Friday. I think if 78 or more make the cut, they have a second cut after Saturday's round and cut down to 70.
Pebble appears to be a rare event where there is one cut, but because they only keep 60, they treat the rest of the top 70 as a MDF.

Lefty's got about a 5 footer on 18 to force a playoff with Vaughn Taylor. Shitty chip by Phil's standards has made this putt a bit more difficult than it needed to be.
