THESE TIMES ARE CENTRAL.

AND...THIS IS "RIVALRY WEEKEND". LET THE GAMES BEGIN

  • Tuesday, November 24th
    • Bowling Green at Ball State 6:00 pm espn3
    • Ohio at Northern Illinois 6:30 pm ESPNU / WatchESPN
  • Thursday, November 26th
    • South Florida at UCF 6:30 pm ESPN / WatchESPN
    • Texas Tech at Texas 6:30 pm FS1 / FS Go Video (The rivalry that could've been...nah)
  • Friday, November 27th
    • Marshall at Western Kentucky 11:00 am FS1 / FS Go Video
    • Miami at Pittsburgh 11:00 am ESPN2 / WatchESPN (Both teams try to improve their bowl position in this one. With neither team dominating in any aspect of the game..edge Panthers at home?)
    • Navy at Houston 11:00 am ABC / espn3 (This is really a must see game. The #15 Middies (9-1) visit #21 Houston (10-1) to decide the AAC West title and secure a spot in the conference championship game). Houston enters after it's undefeated season was spoiled last week against...UConn, but puts up an in-your-face spread offense (that will likely challenge Navy's undersized but tough secondary) against what at times appears as an unstoppable x3 offense led by Keenan Reynolds' (NCAA rushing-TD-record-holder with 82, to go along with 28 passing TDs).
    • Western Michigan at Toledo 11:00 am CBSSN
    • Missouri at Arkansas 1:30 pm CBS / CBS Video (This game features two schools that must have had a greater vision of where they stand today. But the Hogs are playing much stronger in the 2nd half of their season (after losing 4 of their first 6 games to open the season). With wins over Auburn, LSU, and Ole Miss, they'd turned the corner before the wild loss to 52-51 loss MissSt last week. Missouri must be brain dead after their on-field performance and off-field distractions. Here's hoping they put up a good fight.)
    • Boise State at San Jose State 2:30 pm CBSSN
    • Iowa at Nebraska 2:30 pm ABC / espn3
    • Washington State at Washington 2:30 pm FOX / FS Go Video
    • Oregon State at Oregon 3:00 pm FS1 / FS Go Video (The Mr. Potato Head Bowl. Both Ducks and Beavers float, but the Ducks obviously climb on the backs of the Beavers in this one).
    • UMass at Buffalo 3:30 pm ESPNU / WatchESPN
    • Baylor at TCU 6:30 pm ESPN / WatchESPN (Battle of the Texas titans. #6 Baylor (9-1) is hoping beyond hope that an impressive win and some catastrophic losses above them can springboard them into the top 4, but the unlikely availability of QB Jarrett Stidham and Big12 leading rusher Shock Linwood surely diminishes their chances - especially since they'll be left to start their 3rd string QB, Chris Johnson. #13 TCU (9-2) is not to be overlooked.)
    • Tulsa at Tulane 7:00 pm ESPNU / WatchESPN
    • Games online only or not yet scheduled for nationally available networks.
      • Eastern Michigan at Central Michigan 12:00 pm espn3
      • Kent State at Akron 11:00 am ASN (affiliates TBA) / espn3
      • Troy at Georgia State 1:00 pm espn3
  • Saturday, November 28th
    • Cincinnati at East Carolina 11:00 am CBSSN
    • Clemson at South Carolina 11:00 am ESPN / WatchESPN (Look for a big win here as the Gamecocks look at memories of the ole ball coach in their rear view mirror).
    • Florida Atlantic at Old Dominion 11:00 am MASN / CSCA *4 / ASN (affiliates TBA)
    • Georgia at Georgia Tech 11:00 am ESPN2 / WatchESPN (The Sweet Georgia Peach Bowl. Or is it Pecan? Mirror image records of 8-3 and 3-8 cloak what could actually prove to be a heated contest. Despite their record, the Bumble Bees beat Florida State 22-16 in Week 8)
    • Indiana at Purdue 11:00 am BTN / BTN2Go Video
    • Iowa State at West Virginia 11:00 am FS1 / FS Go Video
    • Louisville at Kentucky 11:00 am SEC Network / WatchESPN
    • Maryland at Rutgers 11:00 am BTN / BTN2Go Video
    • Ohio State at Michigan 11:00 am ABC / espn3 (Wayback, Sachmoney, tims4wins, and others are probably looking at the wavering opening lines and wondering which way the wind blows. tOSU opened as a slim early favorite, but more recent lines from Vegas.com and other are shading toward the maize and gold. This is indeed the game of the week.)
    • SMU at Memphis 11:00 am ESPN News / WatchESPN
    • Southern Miss at Louisiana Tech 11:00 am FSN Affiliates / FS Go Video
    • Virginia Tech at Virginia 11:00 am ESPNU / WatchESPN (The Old Dominion Bowl, as 2 in-state rivals give it a go. With respective records of 4-6 and 5-6, don't look for either team to light up the scoreboard, but the Hokies are looking to send Frank Beamer out with a non-losing record. Cavalier fans probably wish that Mike London would join Beamer in the ranks of the retired).
    • ESPN GoalLine (12 hour block) 11:00 am ESPNGL / WatchESPN
    • Boston College at Syracuse 11:30 am (ESPN Extra / espn3) blackouts / FSN Affiliates / ACC-RSN
    • Duke at Wake Forest 11:30 am (ESPN Extra / espn3) blackouts / ACC Network
    • UNLV at Wyoming 1:00 pm RSRM / RSNW / RSSW *1
    • Alabama at Auburn 2:30 pm CBS / CBS Video (The #2 Tide (10-1) will probably try to stick a cannon about as far down the 6-5 Tigers' throat as possible before yanking the firing lanyard. The forgiveness begged for Harvey Updike's unspeakable acts at Toomer's Corner only goes so far. But don't count a sleeping Auburn team out. When these tow schools meet, anything is possible.)
    • BYU at Utah State 2:30 pm CBSSN
    • Charlotte at Rice 2:30 pm MASN / CSCA *4 / ASN (affiliates TBA)
    • Colorado at Utah 2:30 pm PAC-12 Network / PAC-12 Video
    • Illinois vs. Northwestern (Chicago) 2:30 pm ESPNU / WatchESPN
    • North Carolina at North Carolina State 2:30 pm ABC / espn3 / ESPN2 / WatchESPN (The wolf gets swamped ion the tar field)
    • Penn State at Michigan State 2:30 pm ESPN / WatchESPN (Other venues must disagree with Odds Shark opening only with MSU -5. MSU certainly will be motivated: a win puts them in the B1G championship game vs surprising Iowa, which is why a whole bunch of folks in or with ties to Ann Arbor or Columbus are likely holding their collective noses and rooting otherwise. With Connor Cook questionable, this could present some interesting dynamics influenced by: 1) what could be Christian Hackenberg's final collegiate game, and 2) the last graduates recruited by and playing for Joe Paterno).
    • UCLA at USC 2:30 pm ABC / espn3 / ESPN2 / WatchESPN (La Batalla de los Angeles. As usual, the game has meaning, as the winner will take home the Pac-12 South title. A heralded rivalry like only the west coast can produce. The Trojans a 44-31-7 edge in the series, but UCLA has gathered the more recent momentum since Jim Mora arrived and chalked up wins in the past 3 straight seasons. But Clay Helton will be looking to return the Pac-12 trophy to USC for the first time since...cough...Pete Carroll.)
    • UTEP at North Texas 2:30 pm FSN Affiliates / FS Go Video
    • Wisconsin at Minnesota 2:30 pm BTN / BTN2Go Video
    • Arkansas State at New Mexico State 3:00 pm ESPN Extra / ALT / Aggie Vision / espn3
    • Kansas State at Kansas 3:00 pm FS1 / FS Go Video
    • Vanderbilt at Tennessee 3:00 pm SEC Network / WatchESPN
    • Bayou Classic: Grambling vs. Southern 4:00 pm NBCSN / NBC Video
    • UConn at Temple 6:00 pm ESPNU / WatchESPN
    • Ole Miss at Mississippi State 6:15 pm ESPN2 / WatchESPN (The Magnolia State Bowl, or, more widely known as the Egg Bowl. Although prospects for an SEC crown disappeared, both of these teams can light up any scoreboard. MissState's Dak Prescott certainly will look to bolster his Heisman prospects, but probably more importantly, his draft outlook).
    • Florida State at Florida 6:30 pm ESPN / WatchESPN (This will be the 60th meeting of these storied programs, with Odds Shark posting an opening line of Seminoles -4.5. This will be one of the mid-evening games to bounce between as these two teams typically set off fireworks. And being in the Swamp merely amplifies the hysteria).
    • Notre Dame at Stanford 6:30 pm FOX / FS Go Video (Another mid-evening game to bounce between. After an unconvincing win over BC, the Irish dropped to #6 and need a solid win to get back into consideration for the final 4, but overcoming a tough #10 Stanford doesn't likely afford that opportunity. Still, the Irish hold a 19-10 lead in the series, but Stanford holds a 7-6 edge when playing at home).
    • Texas A&M at LSU 6:30 pm SEC Network / WatchESPN
    • Oklahoma at Oklahoma State 7:00 pm ABC / espn3 (As Keith Jackson would say, "Whoa Nellie." The #4 Sooners take on the #8 Cowboys in Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater. With the UCLA-USC and ND-Stanford games in progress, you might need to,pull up an extra TV. This is clearly a game that will generate fast-paced, smash-mouth football). .
    • Colorado State at Fresno State 8:00 pm CBSSN
    • Arizona State at California 9:00 pm FS1 / FS Go Video
    • Air Force at New Mexico 9:15 pm ESPNU / WatchESPN
    • Nevada at San Diego State 9:45 pm ESPN2 / WatchESPN
    • Games online only or not yet scheduled for nationally available networks.
    • Louisiana Lafayette at Appalachian State 1:00 pm espn3
    • Louisiana Monroe at Hawaii 10:00 pm MWC Video / Oceanic (cable)
    • Middle Tennessee at UTSA 1:30 pm FCS (cable) / FS Go Video
    • South Alabama at Georgia Southern 1:00 pm espn3
    • Texas State at Idaho 4:00 pm espn3
  • DI-AA Playoffs First round
    • G8: Western Illinois at Dayton 11:00 am College Extra / espn3
    • G1: Fordham at Chattanooga 12:00 pm College Extra / espn3
    • G2: The Citadel at Coastal Carolina 1:00 pm College Extra / espn3
    • G4: Southern Utah at SHSU 2:00 pm ?College Extra? / espn3
    • G5: SDSU at Montana 2:00 pm College Extra / espn3

Looks like the weather will be crappy for OU-OSU. My daughter wants to participate in ESPN Game Day and go to Stillwater, but I can't imagine anyone wanting to sit (or stand) for 3.5 hours in the cold (possibly freezing) rain.

Texas has one interception and has dropped two (with one resulting in a fluky sand aggy touchdown). They fucked up all three plays. This team has officially reached "fuck up a wet dream" status.

And now Heard is out of the game. Awesome.

Charlie pretty much guaranteed year three as Perrin or whoever else supports him will trot out a litany of excuses for this one. Injuries. Fluke plays. Penalties. Whatever the fuck.

That's ok. We can sweep stupid shit like botching the coin toss against UCLA under the rug.

I'm scared to hope. That touchdown by sand aggy made me think there's no way they can overtake them.

What the hell happened to that guy anyway? Too much of a Mack guy?

Fuck him anyway. Warren just took the job by the haunches. That should shut his dumbshit mother up about him transferring to Washington.

Lack of a line r ability to tackle closes this one out.

Looking forward to 2017. Baylor will win by 4 TDs regardless who plays QB.

Navy goes down 52-31 to an unstoppable Houston team. But they key to the game was Houston's defense, which checked Kennan Reynolds and the x3 offense just enough, while Grant Ward showed no signs of the ankle injury that many thought would limit his mobility. Not so fast...as Webb threw for over 300 yds with 3 TDs.

Nebraska has a helluva kicker, Drew Brown. He just drilled a 38-yarder at the end of the half stretching his streak to nine in a row. The previous eight were all from 40 yards or more.

TCU beats Baykor and its third-string QB 28-21 in double OT. Baylor's hopes for a playoff spot go bye-bye.

Fucking Oklahoma will beat OSU tomorrow and make the final four.

What a horrible Baylor play call. Allowed TCU to stuff the box. No lead FB blocker. RB too deep so it took forever for him to get to the line.

They're going to have to re-examine roughing the kicker parameters with these rugby style punters.
The rule is clear. Officials just fuck it up.

Rule 9-1-4-a-5-b: The kicker’s protection under this rule ends when he carries the ball outside the tackle box before kicking.

Thanks. Didn't know that. I rewound it and couldn't tell if he was outside the tackle box. Was he? Why tie it to the tackle box though? Once he starts running it should be open season on him.

Big Ten refs are terrible, and Michigan has been on the wrong end of a lot of calls
