    2024 Masters

Heard that! This entire majors season will be interesting. With these guys now all 12+ months out from the PGA tour, will the difference really start to catch up? They’re not replicating the pressure, field size, format, or duration (72 holes). I wonder what the effects will be as they get...

What do you want Pats to do with #3?

It’s also the first time NFL coaches have to get these kids in a room and have them walk through their thought process, etc. Better Breer shared this story about Caleb Williams (I know, he’s basically been consensus #1 all along but still) There was a play in one of US s games this season where...

    2024 PGA Tour

I don’t care that they’re not stars, this is a great finish. Edit: this is where, despite a talent drain, the PGA still has the major advantage. 2 relative unknowns in a showdown and they’re on NBC on Sunday evening. If this was LIV, it could be Brooks and Rahm doing this and it’d still be...

So long, Framingham Lou (and other WEEI discussions)

But they’d be getting the far lesser on air talent with Rich. So, while a T & R type show could do well (I have my doubts about that “style” in the afternoon), Rich isn’t the one to carry the load and make that work.

Toucher and Hardy: The new 98.5 morning show

In some ways, all Boston sports are stuck in hamster wheels. The Bruins have been on theirs for a few years. “Good to great regular season, but are they built to win in the playoffs?” This is year, what 4 of that storyline? The Celtics are on the “they have a highly talented roster but is Tatum...

So long, Framingham Lou (and other WEEI discussions)

Rich in the afternoon is a bad idea. He’s not knowledgeable enough about sports to carry a show at that time. Random segments not involving sports is where Rich is best. That works in morning drive. I don’t think that would be a good show in the afternoon

    MALCOLM GO...to jail

Ummmm not permanently by any means. Unless the ladies were ghosts or we walked through some sort of time portal when we were there a few months ago!

    Potential new NFL rules

I heard a few times on the radio yesterday that this won’t be enforced via flags but rather via fines after the game. edit: Slight clarification. According to this article on NFL.com we can “expect more fines than flags in the first season…” NFL.com article

    2024 SoSH Golf

Which one? We had a team in the RI Top Golf. I think we were 9th going into the playoffs but lost in the first round.

    2024 PGA Tour

That Clark putt went 270 degrees around the cup. Entered at 6:00, spun clockwise and spun out at 3:00. My group had Scheffler in our big pool so we had some clenched butt holes for a while as Harman, Schauffele, Clark all had looks on 17 and 18 with Clark being the only one to convert any of the...

I would hope they project that well. To hit that type of throw you need: Anticipation Accuracy Strong arm those seem like decent traits for a successful QB.
