    Great post @reggiecleveland I have often wondered this as well about Kobe. People will go great lengths to deify their sports heroes. I mean, the NFL is littered with dudes that did horrible shit but are put on a pedestal. Sports can be odd in that way.

    Theo is a baseball guy, through and through. I’m confident he knows what he knows and will be a huge help to Breslow and the rest of baseball ops. His name is now tied (again) to the Boston Red Sox. This is nothing but a great thing for all of us.

    Can he pitch? This is nice and all, but unless FSG stops treating the Red Sox like a small market team and uses their financial muscle, we will continue to rack up last place finishes. I truly hope Theo can change the current mindset on Jersey Street.
