    The difference in the cap number for the #3 pick vs #1 also is a factor as many of these proposed deals have the C's coming up just a couple hundred thousand short

    Is this a sign that Gunkel is a bullpen arm now? He was used exclusively as a starter during his stint in Salem last year and Sox prospects lists him as a piggyback starter but seems to be an odd usage if that's the case.

    The difference in Gostkowski loomimg free agency and Vinatieri's is Ghost's ability to put the ball through the end zone on kickoffs for touchbacks. Adam is still as accurate, if not more so, at field goals but his kickoffs were a liability and that contributed to Bill letting him walk.
