    I am experiencing some eerie deja vu playing the Hawks in Round 1. I think the C’s win, but the Hawks give them some trouble…again. That said, I would enjoy history repeating itself. Good karma.

    As a Human Resources professional, I am shocked that ESPN would announce something like this without first telling the affected employees.  I find it very hard to believe that any of their HR people would think this was a good approach!

    Simmons has long been against paid subscription-based content (especially his own).  I wonder if any part of this deal allows for some free content. And if he does start another Grantland, will that also be housed on HBO, with a price attached?

      While I found the general viewpoint somewhat interesting, I found this piece to be ironically pretentious, since it seemed to lash out at the very brand of writers Lund seems to emulate.

    I am amazed by how angry people are getting with this kid.  And it's not just apathetic or cynical commentary.  It reads like raw, viscious personal ANGER.  It is probably good material for a great internet sociology experiment.
