    4/22 MiLB Gameday: Good Morning

3 straight impressive starts for Jacob Dahlstrand to start the season. It's taken him a long time to get things together, but he could be this season's pop up pitching prospect to monitor. He's only given up 9 hits and 4 walks in 19 innings so far this year.

4/9 MiLB Gameday: A New Year Begins

My comment was meant to highlight how stacked Pawtucket looks to be. I'm certainly impressed with the outings from Buttrey and Dahlstrand. Buttrey was highly regarded in the draft, so we could have something there if he puts it together. I didn't realize until I looked into Dahlstrand's...

4/9 MiLB Gameday: A New Year Begins

Woo! Minor league games are back, time for daily visits to this page again.   Excited for Johnson's start and... well, that's about it for the starters. This is what happens when the top 4 pitching prospects in the system are all on the same team.

    Carlos Asuaje

I'm a big Asuaje fan. I was able to talk to him in Salem last season, here's the interview: http://firebrandal.com/boston-red-sox/prospect-interview-carlos-asuaje.html

9/13 MiLB Gameday: Governor's Cup Final, Final Game

Echoing the thanks to Cuzitt for all the work on this part of SOSH. I check out this page daily during the season.

8/7 MiLB Gameday: Haley and the Seadogs

This made me laugh a lot.

8/6 MiLB Gameday: Diaz and the TBDs

Kukuk still struggles with his control from time to time. He's walked 7 guys in a game twice with Salem, and followed up his 1BB 10K performance on 7/25 with a 6BB 5K game on 7/31. He reminds me a bit of Drake Britton... lefty with great stuff but only if he commands it.

    7/30 MiLB Gameday: War Machine

He's been overshadowed by the mighty impressive Rafael Devers, but Luis Alexander Basabe has had a nice season. Hit .284/.408/.480 with almost as many walks as strikeouts in the DSL as a 17 year old, and now making his US debut in the GCL with Devers. Seems like he's another one to keep an eye on.

6/13 MiLB Gameday: Lowell Begins, Clay Rehabs...

I saw Joe Oliver playing for the Vermont Reds back in 86 and 87. Makes me feel super old that he's now coaching the Spinners.

4/22 MiLB Gameday: de la Rosa looks to go into partial digits

Betts is now even on the year with 7 walks and 7 strikeouts. In his minor league career though he is way ahead... 120 walks to 94 strikeouts.

Game 7 - Bruins @ Canucks - Protect the Civic

My dad took me to me to my first Bruins game when I was 4 years old. It was at the original Boston Garden. My one memory was that I got frustrated because every time the Bruins got a scoring chance, everyone stood up and I couldn't see what was going on. I remember Terry O'Reilly, and Steve...
