    It is outrageous that Jay Monahan still has a job. I cannot wrap my head around it and come up with any reason why he would still be the leader of the PGA.

    I actually considered volunteering since I live in Newport but didn’t want to dedicate a full 4 days to the tournament. My understanding is that tickets aren’t hard to get so plan to attend one of the days depending on weather since I’m here.

    These guys owe so much to tiger. The money on the tour has nothing to do with the ratings of today or its economics. You have to think the next contract negotiation would be a bloodbath and that’s why they will need this PE and Saudi money because it’s not coming from sponsors.

    I think we all agree the owner wants a QB and we will draft one. The question is which one. And an owner pushing for a QB to be drafted is at least defensible as not being an overreach. I would suggest that putting their thumb on the scape as to who would be a bad sign.

    This is where the PGA blows it. They don’t know how to package these stories and just punt when stars aren’t there … or are just rudderless. They really need to move on from Monahan to a leader with actual vision and skills. Get that Yellow ball to the Masters!

    This. What’s the point in keeping Zappe? This team isn’t going anywhere next year so you don’t need a stop gap to tread water for a few weeks so go with youth or sign a guy off the street if things are that bad. He’s worse talent wise than what you had last year.
