    I think Breslow is also thinking of building numbers ahead of the possibilities of other pitchers going on the IL this year. He might be in a state of shock at how many have gone down already, Mata, Giolito, Kelly, Murphy. And last year with Sale, Houck and Whitlock.

    Cron's chances of making the roster may depend on his physical condition. Is he fully recovered from the back ailments from last year? Interestingly he came off IL last year to be the replacement for the Angel's Ohtani who had gone on the IL.

    Criswell had four clean innings today with 4 K's. I'm pulling for him, used to pitch for my alma mater. Both Jansen and Martin got to relieve Criswell. The Sox defense had a glitch today when Wong overthrew 1st on a pick-off. Gave the O's their only run, so far.

    Sox put up a nine-spot in the 1st inning against NYY today. If I remember Story, Devers and Wong went deep. The Yanks pitched Will Warren, but only five of the runs were earned, because of errors. The split squad tied the Bravos on the road 3-3. Dalbec and Reyes got homers.

    Song had a rough outing in his first appearance. Then looked good this week with a clean 9th inning. And like you said, it could have been the first of the week, as I think he's only gotten the call two times.
