I hate this type of replay, even if we get it. Reminds me of the stupid offsides reviews in NHL.
I don't mind these. It's problematic when it happens in the closing minutes, if the defender hits the ball carrier's arm and the ball pops out of bounds. The refs give the ball back to the offense live (because it's an unspoken rule to not call those sorts of touch fouls in the final minutes, the compromise being that the offense will retain possession), but when they review in slow motion they are unable to call the foul, and have to just call what they can - that is, that the ball clearly goes off the offensive player.
Since that didn't happen here (JB stripped him clean), I have no problem with it. Back to back big games with JB forcing a huge turnover in the closing seconds. This version of Brown (averaging an efficient 28 ppg with lockdown on ball defense) is absolutely an all-NBA player, and will help us navigate any injuries or Tatum slumps.
