Goff is better than Purdy too imho but 49ers have better weapons slightly and defense by far.
can’t have SF win 6 but kinda worried Chiefs maybget 8
I have faith in Lions
One thing about the Lions, I feel pretty confident they wouldn't outsmart themselves like Monken did, they'd just line up behind that big O-line and pound the ball.

I just keep replaying that 3rd and 1 play when Lamar danced around for 10 seconds trying to throw the ball instead of taking the easy 1st down ultimately taking a sack. They picked up the first on the next play but that kind of decision making can’t happen in a game like this. Get a new set of downs and keep moving forward. He got up and kept motioning at the receiver. Frustrating to see and I’m not a Ravens fan.

"3-time Pro Bowl Selection" ... wonder what it will say under Brady's name next season?

Deebo isn’t 100%
that changes things
Without Deebo this year, Purdy still has the highest EPA per play in the NFL. With Deebo, he is WAY higher than anyone in the NFL.

Purdy had one of the best seasons as a QB in history.

Plus, Deebo has no restrictions right now and Goff on the road is Mac Jones. At home, he's Tom Brady. Goff is on the road today.

I know that no one uses the term this way in sports, but in my book, there's only one true dynasty in NFL history, and that's the 1981-1994 49ers. Each championship team had members from the previous team, but the 1981 and 1994 teams shared none of the same coaches or players. That's what makes it a true dynasty: power was successfully handed down to the next "generation."
So by your completely arbitrary rules for a “Dynasty”, you’re 100% correct. Congrats, I guess.

EDIT: I mean, I guess if you’re being pedantic, you’re right.

Unreal America
Fox needs cheap programming
It’s Disney too.

Spoiler: the first week will have OK ratings. Then the ratings will fall off a cliff. Then there will be reports about how the financials don’t work and the league is on shaky footing. Then it’ll fold.

If you think Purdy or Goff or Dan Campbell are beating this Chiefs team and coaching staff, I’d love a bit of what you’re smoking.
Compared to the Lions, the SF pass rush has a much better chance of battering Mahomes. I'd favor the Chiefs over either opponent too, though.

All the pressure is on the 49ers though and Goff has actually won an NfCCG before

I’m really going to miss football. This weekend is kind of the end if your team isn’t in it…Super Bowl just isn’t the same…I like the games to be played in one of the team’s arena

Yeah, yesterday was the first Saturday since mid August without any football.

It's a tough feeling.
