There would be some irony if BB ended his career in Buffalo, chasing a ring, older than Marv Levy
I doubt they fire Hardo, but they no doubt should fire him. Just like McCarthyNot sure I’m buying all this bye bye hardo talk. Thought McCarthy was gone too.
I’m not sure Allen even saw Diggs. And then he didn’t see underneath on 3rd down either. Total choke in the biggest moment.Dumb play call going for the end zone on 2nd-and-9 in the final sequence. Hitting Diggs would have given the Bills a first down, clock running, and a much shorter FG try if it came to that. Why go for the home run ball there, especially in coverage? Then essentially trying it again on 3rd down.
No. But Reid did complain quite a bit about the flag on Dee Ford, despite him being offside by half a body length.Sophie's choice here...I hate the Chiefs, but at least their coach never whined about a rule incessantly during the game then allegedly had the officials on watch the next playoff game to start Deflategate.
Why? He's fun to watch. And in order to even have a shot at Brady he'd need what Brady had, which is essentially a second hall of fame career added to his first one.Brady has 7 Super Bowls, 6 with the Patriots. I don't understand anyone rooting for anything but Mahomes to miss as many Super Bowl chances as possible. Go, Ravens.
No chance I could ever root for the Ravens - none.Brady has 7 Super Bowls, 6 with the Patriots. I don't understand anyone rooting for anything but Mahomes to miss as many Super Bowl chances as possible. Go, Ravens.
I don't think you can blame that one on Hardo, and I despise the guy. Between two very good teams, it's execution.I doubt they fire Hardo, but they no doubt should fire him. Just like McCarthy
I'm just telling Hardo goodbye for the playoffs, I don't think the Bills management is smart enough to fire him.Not sure I’m buying all this bye bye hardo talk. Thought McCarthy was gone too.
Would be Niners 6th, no? 81, 84, 88, 89, 94.I'm a Lions fan the rest of the way. I don't want SF to win their 7th, but I sure as hell don't want KC or Baltimore to win it either.
6th?I'm a Lions fan the rest of the way. I don't want SF to win their 7th, but I sure as hell don't want KC or Baltimore to win it either.
Yeah, this. The shot at the end zone made no sense there. Needed to grind out some more clock first.Kind of mind boggling that they came out of that time and decided to go immediately for six. They only way they were winning that game was with a TD with < 90 seconds left.
BB hates QBs who turn the ball over. I don’t think he’s up for the Josh Allen experience.Buffalo should go to BB and McDaniels, but they’ll keep this asshole instead.
Yes but KC ref love >>>>>> anybodyRavens D >>>>>> Buffalo D
Even the 3rd and 9 play. You'd think they would have leaned harder into a checkdown / crossing route that would leave the clock running and shorten the FG even with no 1st down.Yeah, this. The shot at the end zone made no sense there. Needed to grind out some more clock first.
It is amazing what four World Series titles since 2004 can help us forget. The 86 years prior to 10/27/04 were far more painful. The 1918 chants...well, no need to list the decades of painful endings for the Red Sox. The Bills have had it bad, but not nearly as bad as the pre-04 Sox fans. They have it worse than Sox fans pre 04
Other than the bad 5 yard PI call, what calls did they get tonight? That was the only one I remember.Yes but KC ref love >>>>>> anybody
Fair enough. I think he's great. Phenomenal player and seems like a decent guy.Listen, I’m going to find any and all reasons to dislike Mahomes, rational or not.
It’s pretty easy, actually. Root for Lamar next week and NFC, likely SF, in SB. Win win.Gotta root for Lamar. Try to forget it's Harbaugh and the Ratbirds. Ugh.
Yes. Good catch. Still. I don't want that.Would be Niners 6th, no? 81, 84, 88, 89, 94.
I guess that my excuse for next week is that I'm on a message board with a guy who has a nephew through a marriage who works in corporate sales for the Ravens.I got a nephew through a marriage who works in corporate sales for the Ravens. That's my excuse for next week.
I’ll try and imagine how happy a rat bird win would make Bunk, Lester, Kima, Slim Charles, Jimmy, etc.Gotta root for Lamar. Try to forget it's Harbaugh and the Ratbirds. Ugh.
The population is aging, and nobody wants to die, and even being uncomfortable sucks. We'll do anything for magic curesRandom, but I really don’t watch TV outside of NFL games. Why is, seemingly, like 25% of all commercials pharmaceutical commercials? I remember it always used to be like that on the news networks, but seeing it so much during NFL games tells me either the advertising for pharmaceuticals has gotten out of control or Americans are in even worse health than anyone could have ever imagined.
In order of what I want most to least:Absolutely insane to root for Mahomes
Losing 4 SBs in a row is very arguably more painful than what Sox fans went through during any stretch. Over multiple generations, sure.It is amazing what four World Series titles since 2004 can help us forget. The 86 years prior to 10/27/04 were far more painful. The 1918 chants...well, no need to list the decades of painful endings for the Red Sox. The Bills have had it bad, but not nearly as bad as the pre-04 Sox fans.
friend of mine theorizes that it’s not about the effectiveness of the ads. It’s about buying influence with the mediaRandom, but I really don’t watch TV outside of NFL games. NP. You can piggy back my (former) nephew in law. He's a good guy.I guess that my excuse for next week is that I'm on a message board with a guy who has a nephew through a marriage who works in corporate sales for the Ravens.
My first heartbreak was in 1975 so I get what you are saying. But the Bills have lost a lot of very big games in so many crushing ways. I think their fans (I know a few)would argue that their trauma is as bad as anyone else's if not worse. I'm in no position to argue otherwise as nobody can truly understand another's painIt is amazing what four World Series titles since 2004 can help us forget. cold night, strong winds, not a gimme. one of my pet peeves is that since many stadiums have perfect conditions every game, fans have been conditioned to think that FGs are automatic, punts are easy to track and catch, etc.Cameras should be showing Allen, who looked off an easy first down, and not Bass, who missed a tough kick.
Because the other 75% are insurance ads.Random, but I really don’t watch TV outside of NFL games. Why is, seemingly, like 25% of all commercials pharmaceutical commercials? Edit: on second thought, it’s probably both.
Thanks. I feel like family.NP. You can piggy back my (former) nephew in law. He's a good guy.
They didn't need one, they weren't behind yet. But you could argue the roughing calls the Bills didn't get that mahomes probably would have.Other than the bad 5 yard PI call, what calls did they get tonight? That was the only one I remember.
I’m an Allen defender - they put so much on his shoulders - but he had diggs wide open on that crosser. That was the game, I thinkAllen saying he didn't get enough on the throw on 2nd & 9.
It's just coaching malpractice to come out of the two-minute warning looking to score within 5 seconds. With that defesne against Mahomes, you have to play it slower. But sure let's focus on the play instead of the playcall.
I think I want Balt more than SF - Lamar Jackson winning it all would outweigh how annoying they were a decade ago by a mile for me.In order of what I want most to least:
1. Detroit - easiest team to root for here by a mile
2. San Fran - don't want them to get 6 but oh well
3. Baltimore - yuck, but better than #4
4. Kansas City - Brady's legacy trumps it all
no way do the Bills go into Balmer and come out with a win.I think Baltimore smokes this team
