A Lamar Jackson moment.
Bird hot 15 fts that game, and took 36 shots, I think it was 5 in a row to end the game that had guys falling off the benchThis is like Bird's game in Atlanta.
Not really the same, but Dunan'seque. Not necessarily the best at any one feature, but very very good at everytning.I'm not even sure what the comp is. Just the size, strength, and outside shooting combined with that footwork and athleticism/defense. He is playing with such determination this season.
I remember that game! Quintessential Bird.Bird hot 15 fts that game, and took 36 shots, I think it was 5 in a row to end the game that had guys falling off the bench

McHale had scored like 56 a week before to set the team record and then Larry came out and took it from him.I remember that game! Quintessential Bird.
Nobody moved. Just a dead possession. Not sure the Derrick White iso was needed right there.
exactlyC's showed some real mental toughness to win this one. Would have been so easy for them to let down.
I was thinking about this, but honestly Durant is pretty close, where Durant has more touch but Tatum is stronger going to the rimI'm not even sure what the comp is. Just the size, strength, and outside shooting combined with that footwork and athleticism/defense. He is playing with such determination this season.
You know what’s better than five in a row? Six in a row of course. Punk the Pistons!
I think I might play Vonleh over Griffin right now. The guy just can't jump or box out, it seems.
back to back, this will be a great win if they get it
Tatum is going to have to play a lot of minutes in this one for the C's to win, I suspect.
Just highlighting some of the best of the gamethreadNeed to go to PP. need some energy
Healthy Paul George 2.0I was thinking about this, but honestly Durant is pretty close, where Durant has more touch but Tatum is stronger going to the rim
This is the right call, a better George. Durant felt a little too high of a comp, but no one seemed close to completeHealthy Paul George 2.0
They are similar in that they are big guys who can handle the ball and are snipers from deep, but PG never shot better than 68% within 3 feet, outside of this season so far, at 71%. Tatum has shot 74% the last two seasons, and 81% so far this year. He does it much more often than PG as well, he’s just a much more physically imposing player.Healthy Paul George 2.0
