Anyone watch the first episode? I thought it was pretty funny and much less boring than the past few seasons so far. Dan Campbell and Deuce Staley are entertaining guys.
Agreed. I know it’s Hard Knocks, but the coaching staff seems to have done a good job getting the players to “buy in” to their approach.Aaron Glenn seems like a good dude too. The lions came across as super likable in my opinion.
The Billie Jean clip had me ROLLING. These guys clearly are all in.Loved the first episode. The Billie Jean clip was as great of a tv moment as you can get and it was only made better by the context of how bought in the team seems to be. Loved Jamaal Williams as well. Most interesting and likeable team the show has had in a while - hard to watch how Dan Campbell runs the show and not want him to succeed.
Unless they changed the rules, I thought it had to be a team that hasn't made the playoffs the past 2 seasons? Can't be hoping for that....i hope denver does this in 23 or 24
Nothing stopping a team from volunteering.Unless they changed the rules, I thought it had to be a team that hasn't made the playoffs the past 2 seasons? Can't be hoping for that....
I think Campbell is very likable as well, the players seem to respond to him.
Jury is still out if he's a good head coach or just a good guy to have on the coaching staff.... time will tell.
This season is phenomenal. But it's not like the Game of Thrones or Better Call Saul thread. After the episode ends, there isn't that much to discuss.3 episodes in and this thread doesn’t have much traction. Honestly, I’m loving it and think it might be up there with the best Hard Knocks seasons. The coaching staff clearly loves and respects each other and the players seem fully invested. I don’t think the Lions are a good team, but they should be fun to watch over the next 2-3 years.
