I would not vote for any PED users, before or after MLB's testing regimen. This is because PEDs were actually illegal. People had known about their problems since well before the 90s, one of which was they squeezed otherwise viable players out of the game by prolonging careers, altering bodies, and skewing results. As far as I'm concerned, Clemens and Bonds don't have the benefit of any doubt. They can come clean and say they were juiced to the eyeballs, and make a case they should be in. But absent that, they're out.
I would not vote for Schilling, who I think is a marginal (but viable) candidate based on numbers. If a character clause ever meant anything, it should be applied here.
