Well said, same for me. Rest in Peace.Man. Jerry will always be the first voice I hear in my head when I think about some of my favorite Red Sox memories.
I hope he can now Rest In Peace.
one thing that should be done for Opening Day is put those shirts on every seat and ask fans to wear them. If only the weather could cooperateIt felt really ominous with how much the team and the broadcasts were highlighting the Jerry Remy Fight Club shirts. That level of support seemed to be absent other than his first bout, which made this fight seem like it wasn't going to end well. And it didn't.
Sox broadcasts aren't going to be the same. At least Remdawg is now at peace and no longer in pain.
Fuck this stings. My childhood is official dead.
My best moments
1) Here comes the pizza!
2) Boob grab
3) New wife smell
What’s yours?

Hopefully in that alternate universe we are winning that WS, and Remy is alive and well.In in alternate universe we could have been winning the WS tonight on the day of his passing.
That isn't a small deal at all. I think that gave him an incredible amount of happiness over the past couple decades, including during all his cancer battles. It's a very small deal in the whole scheme of things, but I am happy he got to be a huge part of the Golden Age of Red Sox baseball.
I love that Drew struck out that AB. Microcosm of his year setting up the 14 million dollar granny.Still some of the greatest game-adjacent color commentary ever. If not the best:
