This feels like a potential career ender given he turns 30 in Feb. Hope I’m wrong and he makes it back but hell of a career if he can’t.James White is going to be out the rest of the year. That sucks.

Would have been such a great fit there but I’m glad he didn’t give in to the dark side.He should have gone to Tampa Bay
Don’t forget Bolden!Stevenson (and Taylor) time. Next man up!

Mark Daniels: Patriots offensive linemen warming up: Justin Herron, Michael Onwenu, David Andrews, Yodny Cajuste, Yasir Durant No sign of Isaiah Wynn or Trent Brown yet
This is not good
better late than too soonBrown still not at practice. I get that it's the Texans, but at some point he needs to come back.
Fair.better late than too soon
Gilmore trade grabbing the headlines but this is a much bigger deal. They can’t trot out 3-4 wholly new OL on Sunday. Already shuddering at the prospect of Herron/Cajuste at T, with Karras and ? at G. Hopefully it is the case that one or more of these guys re take the field by Friday.Oh boy. Brown AND Mason not spotted at practice, along with Wynn and Onwenu (COVID protocol).
Pats face the Texans but that's 4 starting OL not practicing today.
Mills has been horrible so I'm thinking we're going to see an incredibly conservative offensive gameplan and wait for Mills to screw up. Harris could have like a "25 carries for 55 yards" line. But they'll gladly punt, play field position, and wait for turnovers.Holy smokes that is...underwhelming. They better be able to run the ball because if not, yeah, Mac could get killed.
Yup. This is a game they can win scoring 10. The only way I'm worried is if the OL can't block at all. This isn't exactly the '85 Bears defense they're facing, so if they have issues protecting even if a patch work OL that's the way they lose. That and Mac throwing 3 INTs.Yup. This is a game they can win scoring 10. Not worried in the least about this week.
That's why they're going to take the ball out of Mac's hands as much as they can. Run, run, and on third down run the draw. The only way I'm worried is if the OL can't block at all. It has been his reputation forever and I worry he might not give a shit now that the Pats aren't exactly contenders.I was tired of Brown being too injured to play last week in a game that we really needed him. This game is basically soft serve ice cream. If he can't strap em up when we have almost no OL I want him gone. His day to day calf strain has caused the biggest issue with our offense.

There are reports that he had a setback last week which forced him to miss the game. He was practicing last week. Something had to have happened to make him to go full DNP the whole week.It has been his reputation forever and I worry he might not give a shit now that the Pats aren't exactly contenders.
I think rodderick nailed it. What happened last week is that we lost and are now 1-3.There are reports that he had a setback last week which forced him to miss the game. He was practicing last week. Something had to have happened to make him to go full DNP the whole week.
I don't think he's faking an injury, I think there's a chance he's not doing everything he can to be on the field.Yeah, I don't think Trent Brown is faking an injury in a walk year. More likely... guys get hurt, guys have setbacks, particularly 6'8" 370lb guys.
Yeah must have otherwise would have done this 3 weeks ago.Wynn and Onwenu weren't activated off COVID list, so they're officially out tomorrow. Trent Brown was also placed on IR so he's out the next 3 games. So yea, he suffered a setback.

Find another way to make your point. The Bills just made them their bitch
Apologies. The PC Police will get me every once in a while.Find another way to make your point.
This team can’t afford to overlook anyone at all.I guess I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt but it’s still aggravating. Initially it was considered not serious so not sure what’s happened in the last 4 weeks. I get he’s a big dude and having his legs underneath him is really friggin important but there’s a part of me that thinks he should eat some bananas and get back on the field.
I don’t think it’s wise to overlook Houston. The Bills just outclassed them but the week before Mills looked half decent against a good Panthers D. I would love to see our backup OL play better than who’s been starting but I don’t find it likely.
PC police? You actually think that's A-ok to post something like that here? And that it's about political correctness? The answer to both is it's not. I can't believe as long as you've been here you didn't get the memo.Apologies. The PC Police will get me every once in a while.
Glad he’ll be back to his red zone fumbling ways in no time.
