Nantz has a full ratings boner on for that one.Dallas at Pats on CBS is very interesting
Was just thinking about this. Good guesses, thanks.Pats should be on in the NYC area the following weeks
—Week 2 at Jets
—Week 4 vs TB
—Week 5 at Houston Jets in London, Giants at 4:25) other option at 1 here is Mia at TB
—Week 6 vs Dallas(national DH game)
—Week 7 vs Jets
—Week 8 at LAC?( Jets at 1, Giants on MNF)
—Week 11 at Atlanta TNF
—Week 13 at Buffalo MNF
—Week 15 at Indy possible Saturday game

I agree. It’s a 12 win schedule.My way too early prediction: 12-5.
Vegas has it at 9, right? 12-5 seems high for a QB that can’t throw or a rookie.I agree. It’s a 12 win schedule.

What is the over/under number for me to finally understand that these numbers should indeed add up to 17? I put it at 5.5 years. My way too early prediction: 12-5.

CBS can show any game in Week 5 since the Giants are on the road so the Pats will have to compete with the 4:05s there too. They won't be on in Week 8 since FOX has the doubleheader and the Jets are on CBS. https://www.patriots.com/news/analysis-patriots-2021-scheduleOver the past 20 years, 1 o'clock kickoffs for the Patriots have been limited, as the broadcast networks have wanted to showcase New England in many of the prime time or nationally-televised 4 o'clock slots. This year, though, the Patriots currently have 10 games scheduled to start at 1, with the potential for an 11th if that aforementioned Week 15 Indy tilt gets shifted to Sunday or early that Saturday.
One of my favorite Bill Simmons' takes was Detroit should not annually host a Thanksgiving day game because they always suck. Then all these Detroit fans wrote him saying that the Thanksgiving day game was all they had. Those poor bastards. The Thanksgiving games are less than desirable.

For Week 1, CBS 2 in NY will have the choice of which 4:25 game to play in the area. I'm not exactly confident that Dolphins-Pats will be a bigger draw than Browns-KC but I'm hoping they choose the Pats obviously.CBS can show any game in Week 5 since the Giants are on the road so the Pats will have to compete with the 4:05s there too. Edit: assuming there are no blackouts when both networks have the DH then they'll be on in Week 1 if CBS chooses that over CLE-KC.
It's not a bigger national draw but they generally put divisional teams on in NYC when it's somewhat close. This is true for all other sports, but if you aren't willing to change your entire cable setup to get direct TV, wouldn't the only way to do this be...... illegally? It's 2021, if you NYC folks cannot figure out a way to watch any single game in pretty much any sports league under the sun and stream it to your big-screen TV by this point, there's no helping you.
Personally, I really enjoy 1pm days, so this is great for me.
As someone who drives down to Gillette from NH for home games, I concur. Being able to drive home in some semblance of daylight is nice when possible.Personally, I really enjoy 1pm days, so this is great for me.
Ditto on all of the above. But why do you wait until 9? If someone else drives, have yourself a road soda!As someone who drives down to Gillette from NH for home games, I concur. Being able to drive home in some semblance of daylight is nice when possible.
Of course, we're usually pulling into the lots just as they open the gates, so that means I'm drinking at 9am on game-days.
I meet a buddy at the Walmart in Bellingham (he's coming up from southern CT), and then we carpool the rest of the way in. I can wait the 25-30 minutes until I've unfolded the 2 camp chairs behind the van in Lot 40 (P11) to start swilling it down.Ditto on all of the above. But why do you wait until 9? I almost never do, mainly because my bladder is the size of a walnut. I hate to be that guy needing to stop every 10 miles.
I just noticed when I printed the schedule that there is an asterisk next to 7 of the 1:00 games, which means they could be flexed. I hate when 1PM games are flexed, even more so when they are flexed to prime time.As someone who drives down to Gillette from NH for home games, I concur. Highly desirable for Bills fans planning a trip to post-vaccine NOLA.The Thanksgiving games are less than desirable.

Was there ever a NOLA that was affected by COVID? Seems like much of that area pretended it never existed.Highly desirable for Bills fans planning a trip to post-vaccine NOLA.
My seats are in the last row of the stadium. Other seats in my section and row are currently going for $1500 eachThe ticket prices on Ticketmaster and StubHub for Patriots/Buccaneers are crazy.
Seats 2 rows in front of me in 140 are going for $1858 + fees each for the Bucs game.My seats are in the last row of the stadium. Other seats in my section and row are currently going for $1500 each
My buddy and I split a pair in the 300's. Decent seats close to midfield, eleventh row. Saints and Cowboys games would cover us for 2022 and we could care less about seeing either of them. Not a lot of supply currently which is inflating the price.Seats 2 rows in front of me in 140 are going for $1858 + fees each for the Bucs game.
Same seats for the NO game, $497 each. For the Bills game, the day after Christmas, $497.
My wife thinks I should sell mine to finance all the games for the rest of the year. *I* think I want to be out of this house and at these games so badly, it's not worth it.
I used to have seasons tix 3 rows from the top of the 300's. It was always fun before the home opener when the Air Force would do a flyover and we could see the top of the planes. My seats are in the last row of the stadium. Other seats in my section and row are currently going for $1500 each
I was there in December/January for a month and most people were taking it reasonably seriously in the city at least. Just one man's observation. Less so outside the city. Was there ever a NOLA that was affected by COVID? Seems like much of that area pretended it never existed.
I've been in the same spot, last row of 326, since 2006. I've never tried to move up; I actually enjoy it up there.I used to have seasons tix 3 rows from the top of the 300's. It was always fun before the home opener when the Air Force would do a flyover and we could see the top of the planes.
I spent 10 years near the bottom of 317. Sightlines are pretty damn good from everywhere in the stands, so we had plenty of fun up there. about ten years ago I got my first option to move up, and ended up in the 200 sections for a season. Moving closer to the field was nice, but as I get older, minimizing the number of stairs/ramps I deal with becomes a real bonus. I was subsequently able to move down to 140 for the last 9 years or so, which, while in the corner of the endzone, still gives me a great view of the field, AND the added bonus of having to navigate a minimum of steps while also being REALLY close to the exit. So I while completely understand the fun of being in the upper deck, for ME it was a younger man's game, and I'll keep trying to move down closer to the field/50 yard line. We'll see if the weirdness that was the 2020 season makes seat upgrade options more plentiful this year (last year I could have essentially gotten the same seats in the opposite corner of the field, so I passed.)I've been in the same spot, last row of 326, since 2006. One piece of advice as you get closer to the field - don't get too close. I had friends with season tickets in the first row for years. While it was fun, the sightlines sucked. I wouldn't go closer than the 10th-12th row and I think ideal range is somewhere in the 15-20 range. YMMV.I spent 10 years near the bottom of 317. tl;dr - Old guy doesn't like walking too much, and likes to be close to the action so he can see better.
I haven't been back to the Blade in a number of years now. I believe the last time I was there was the divisional playoff game against the Colts where Blount had like 3 TD's and Jamie Collins had a pick 6 off of Luck. I need to get back there so badly. My seats are in Section 237. Tickets for the Bucs game 9 rows in front of me are going for $2400/each right now. I think the market will soften though.
When I first got season tickets, I was in 325 Row 1. I loved those seats. First row balcony with a bathroom and a beer stand right behind our section. You could hit the head and grab a beer during a TV timeout and not miss a snap.
Man, I cannot wait to get back in there.
NFL Network has had NE at #17 in their power rankings for the last couple of weeks. I haven't seen an actual discussion about power rankings, just a scroll at the bottom of the screen during Good Morning Football. I thought 17 was low considering the newly signed guys. They have Tampa Bay #1What can I say I’m drinking the kool aid.
Realistically I think they end up with 9-10 wins.
I've felt the same way. I think I'd prioritize closer to the 50 yard line before moving down too far for sure. The proximity to the Cross Field house for my current seats in 140 is a nice restroom option too. Honestly, I sign up for the seat upgrade option every year to see what comes available. It's nice now where they give you the actual OPTION to look and see what's available and choose if you want to move. Back when I moved from 317 to the 200 levels they just asked if you wanted to "upgrade" and if you said yes, they just told you where your new seats were. (and in the case of 317->200s, doubled the price of the season tickets.)One piece of advice as you get closer to the field - don't get too close.
