30th and Kanter.I'm confused. We gave up Kanter for a future pick? Thats it?
EDIT- Ok, we get a trade exception too
Better keep the books clear for Tatum/Mitchell FA year.Various teams project these players to land max contracts after free agency begins tonight in 3+ hours:
*Pelicans restricted free agent Brandon Ingram
*Max extensions for Boston's Jayson Tatum and Utah's Donovan Mitchell from the draft class of 2017
*The Lakers' Anthony Davis

LOLQuestion for mcpickl or CD - does Kanter still count against the Celtics cap, even though he is now a Blazer, because he is still in the act of completing a close-out on an opposing shooter from a game back in August?
I'll miss his offensive rebounding and his personality.Enes was what he was-an O-board vaccuum cleaner and a pretty decent low-post scorer
He filled a void.
So he he got lost on PnR
he was a good person.
He will be remembered kindly when he returns to the parquet
A parting shot at Kyrie on his way out. Respect.
Danny's face in that fourth pic...Not a fan of Kanter the basketball player but he's an exceptional teammate and human being.

Poirier was traded yesterday. It's basically the law firm of Williams, Williams, Theis, and Tacko.I'm going to miss the big lug and all those easy baskets on the offensive end.
Team is better at defense and speed now. Wished we signed Tillie as a UDFA or used the 47 on him, increasingly now.
Wonder what effect this will have on Tacko. I assume VP is also within the organization?
Wonder if we'll get a big from someone else now. I'd much rather have Sabonis than Turner, to be frank.

So would Indy, unfortunately. If the Celtics don't get Turner, I'm fairly certain they'll look to add another rotation big man, the group mentioned above won't cut it.I'm going to miss the big lug and all those easy baskets on the offensive end.

Makes sense—they’ll have a lot of young guys for a few years.Celtics playing the long game, huh.

Odds they actually exercise those picks are . . . remoteMakes sense—they’ll have a lot of young guys for a few years.
Agree. He was really fun to root for and I’ll continue to be a fan of his regardless of which uniform he wears.I really really enjoyed having him on the team. He was a lot of fun, and I absolutely loved watching him post up old style. Not a lot of guys in the league who can do that anymore.
Kanter was like a throwback to the mid-90's Dino Radja: good low post scoring and rebounding and weak DI really really enjoyed having him on the team. He was a lot of fun, and I absolutely loved watching him post up old style. Not a lot of guys in the league who can do that anymore.
The thing is it wasn't lack of effort on D, he was just way too slow. Watching him run back on t was painful. So much effort, but so slow.Kanter was like a throwback to the mid-90's Dino Radja: good low post scoring and rebounding and weak D
