But it's the most annoying game there is if you have that one member of your group that dilly dallies around and isn't ready to hit when it's their turn, forgets the rules, forgets the order, etc. I never play it anymore because you need the perfect group and no one climbing up your ass behind you.Wolf is fun every once in awhile. Results in some great on-course trash talking when playing with the wife, son and daughter.
@cshea It's a set order for the whole round. So you have a player who tees off first on 1, 5, 9, etc. The first player is the wolf. They have to choose their partner from the next three players but have to decide if they want a player before the next player hits. So if they like player two's shot, they have to pick that player before player three tees off, etc. They can choose to go "lone wolf" and pick no partner. The rules on how you win as lone wolf vary wildly depending on your group, but in general, you need to beat or tie all of the remaining players, but you double the bet. There's a bunch of other crap that different groups play, but that's the gist.
