This year's trade deadline is 10/29, so there are four more weeks left in the season before then.
Assuming tonight's game does not end in a tie, there will be 6 winless teams looking at lost seasons, plus two more with only one win. Who from those teams might be available to the Pats to fill holes?
The holes that I see the Pats likely needing outside help, in order of critical need:

The holes that I see the Pats likely needing outside help, in order of critical need:
- TE. I'll take a move TE or a blocker.
- Center. Someone who can be an upgrade on Karras also means that they can put Karras back at swing interior backup thereby improving depth as well.
- LT. If Wynn can't recover from his turf toe, this moves to the top of the list. It would be great if the new LT could also become the swing OT if/when Wynn returns.
- WR. If Henry can't return or if Gordon has a relapse or if Edelman can't breathe, this too moves up the list.
- K. Unless Ghost can remember how to kick straight.
