You lost to Gonzaga and Syracuse (I don't care if Jones was out or not, you're supposed to be ten light years better than Syracuse) and needed a Leonard Hamilton induced miracle to beat Florida State, so this shit about "good luck everybody else" is premature Duke crowning bullshit like every other year on here.
Jones and Reddish were out

Edit and look at my history here I really haven’t prematurely crowed about Duke. I am generally down on them in fact. This year is different

Good bounce back for the Hoos at UNC last night. They are solidly 2nd best team in ACC.
I'd like to get another shot at those guys without having our sixth man and a starter go down in-game after already being down two rotation players, but I also don't want to discredit UVA's performance last night. They were great in winning time and made plays and shots Carolina couldn't.

Same thoughts I had for the hoos against dook Saturday. Mamadi was controlling that game until he got pushed jaw first into Hunter. Dook defense was best I've seen in a while and couldn't miss 3s. Hope to play a third time.

Classic choke job. When Louisville didn't turn it over the last 10 minutes they set it up and had to start all over attacking the zone. Nobody wanted the ball and they stopped attacking. There was vitally no risk in Duke going all out pressing other than the odd foul. One bad break Zion fell and the guard from Louisville slipped on his sweat puddle and turned it over for an instant Duke score.

I would add that probably should have been a foul on him for going over the back of the Louisville guy on the rebounding action.

Just got back from the Texas-OU basketball game, where OU hung on to win 69-67. Lucky that the Sooners built up a decent lead at one point and survived a feisty Texas comeback. Kyler Murray was there, casually waving his Heisman Trophy at the crowd. Buddy Buckets also made an appearance to an appreciative crowd.

Can’t wait to pick UVA to the Final Four again only to watch them lose to Iowa St or something after leading by 12 at the half. A tradition unlike any other.

This Duke team is pretty brutal losing Zion 3/4 of the way through the season. They'd be much better if they never had Zion, but he really became the center of that team on offense and defense and they're lost without him - their roles have all changed. If he's not @ UNC Saturday it's going to be a blowout.

It's sad to say with so much talent on one team, but Duke would be lucky to get out of the first weekend without Zion.

Except that it's Duke-Carolina so anything could happen.

So...will any New England team make the Dance this year? Casual fan here, seeing if I can back any local team heading into the tournament

Ja Morant with an old fashion 3 point play with 8.8 seconds to go to put Murray State ahead for good 76 to 74 against a very good Jacksonville St team.

Saturday night at 8 PM: Murray St vs Belmont in the OVC Championship Game.

How crazy is Georgetown this year? On the bubble, they get annihilated by a mediocre DePaul team on Wednesday night, but go into Milwaukee and beat Marquette today.

Ivy League should come down to Yale vs. Harvard in their tournament next week.

Was the Bolden injury bad? I didn't see it.
Looked bad initially. Went up for a block then came down against net base pad area, left knee buckled badly. Looked in a lot of pain.
Eventually got helped off hobbling by teammates, he attempted to walk off but pain was too much. Possible ACL?

Man, UNC’s last 8 offensive possessions have been brutal.
Just embarrassing to keep settling for bad 3 point attempts.

Edit - make that last 9

No Mike Daum (S. Dakota St.) or Chris Clemons (Campbell) in the NCAAT, but Ja Morant and the Murray St. Racers are dancing.

OVC regular season champ Belmont finishes 26-5 and may get in as well (NET #41/Kenpom #50).

Lower division March Madness---NAIA D2 Women's Final 4. My buddy is reffing the game on ESPN3 now. Pretty cool.

Concordia vs. Northwestern College.

Northeastern is going dancing!!!

2 trips in 5 years after none since 1991.

2 CAA championships, 2 Beanpots, 1 Hockey East championship, 4 total NCAA trips (with a 5th on the way), plus women's hockey with back to back conference titles and a legit contender for the national title. Oh and baseball made NCAAs last spring too. What a time to be a Husky.

Gonzaga sucking in a big game? Shocking.

They remain a disgrace for 2017.
