So I guess part of the cost of AD is giving up a better chance at a title this year. Great.

Can we at least make a 2nd round pick swap rights trade or something? Get it done, Theo.

Kyrie must be loving how Philadelphia, Milwaukee and Toronto have improved substantially at the deadline.

Mirotic' performance has dropped in my eyes ever since he shaved his beard. That beard made him a fearsome badass. Now it's meh.

I wonder if there will even be a second round in 2024

What should he be doing?
Trap question. He can no longer do what he should have done, e.g. go after players like Mirotic and Gasol using some of his picks--because he's hoarding assets for Davis. Target fixation. But hey, "Boston Pelicans" has a nice ring to it.

I want to advance as far as possible in the playoffs, but this year has always been a stopover on the way to AD. If he doesn't get traded today, it is a good day.

Marc Gasol is making 24 million dollars. Mirotic is making 12.5. Please find the appropriate matching salaries that make this team better before you pull more of this shtick

What makes you think that Ainge wanted to go after either of those players? Where would they slot in on this team? Gasol has a player option next year for over $25 million. If Horford is here, where does Gasol fit in in the starting lineup if he would exercise it?

I think it has less to do with Anthony Davis and more about fit and place on the tream they are pretty locked at almost every position. I see Buyout as more likely

Gasol is still a damn good player. And maybe he exercises his player option, who knows? In the process of screwing the Lakers, Ainge may have screwed himself.

At center, with Horford at the 4, as our starting 4 this year will be gone by then. This assuming that Horford doesn't opt out and sign elsewhere, in which case at least we'd have one decent center on the roster.

The Celtics can do nothing and still win the day if Davis is not traded.

Horford at the 4 is significantly less valuable than Horford at the 5.

How are you getting Gasol to the Celtics? Who are you sending out to match salary?

The crazy is winning. Who are we trading for him? Show your work.

I don't even remember who I have blocked but based on the recent one-way responses I've been seeing, I made the right decision.

If you can't tell us who we were trading for him, maybe you should stop posting for a while.

If AD is still on the Pelicans in 41 minutes, the Celtics did just fine today.

Oh I don't want to make the trade, was just addressing the concerns in your previous post about the potential post-trade roster issues. I think that replacing Morris in the starting lineup with Gasol makes this team better. There was no good way to make it happen, though.
