They have a winning record as underdogs under B/BThat means they are the favorites.
They have a winning record as underdogs under B/BThat means they are the favorites.
But they aren't underdogs. I don't understand. The line opened as a pick em and now it's Patriots -1 to -2.They have a winning record as underdogs under B/B
Not sure you can count the last 39 seconds in the 4th quarter. The D was incrdible all game. This was KC.
Jackson got absolutely hosed today. Proud of him for keeping it together after those calls.JC Jackson -- fuck those penalties, Jackson shut whoever he was covering the fuck down. JC Jackson is going to be an all pro contender.
It was so obvious that no one on the Chiefs sideline was celebrating the INT.Ironic game ball to Ford, for lining up in the neutral zone on what would have been the game-sealing INT.
You’re being way too strict. Like I said, this was KC. The D was amazing overall. Not sure you can count the last 39 seconds in the 4th quarter.
But no TD passes during that time, so how good can he really have played?Brady basically had three game winning drives in like 10 minutes of football. 7 min left in 4th, 2 min left in 4th, OT
That didn't really end up mattering as there was the deflected pick and an immediate KC touchdown like moments later. But still.I'll toss a vote to Edelman's thumbs for being short.
Game Ball: Everyone
Goat: Me, for doubting (but the game script felt real bad after the 1st half)
Brady was a god, aside from the one bad play. Take away some drops and it looks even better.
OL basically pitched a shutout. Yes, the run game could have been better in 2H but came back in force when it counted, and Brady was clean all night.
The stat line may not show it but the D was balling tonight. Scheme looked pretty great to me. A couple deep balls + pick play and general game crazyness hurt the result but their work in the first half 100% helped keep the KC D on the field, and exhausted when it counted.
Also have to give credit to B-Flo and BB. They held Hill to 1 catch and Kelce to 23 yards. They rightfully made others beat them.
Hard to add to these. Ghost nailed that non-routine FG that mattered.A lot of guys played well; but Tom deserves every accolade he gets and more because the dude is just so fucking money on GW drives, the last two drives he delivered just fucking lasers.
The O Line was great, as were Develin and Gronk on running plays, it was like having two extra linemen out there.
Edelman wasn’t perfect but made a bunch of big catches over the middle, taking big hits but kept on going.
Secondary was actually quite good. Did it hear a lot from Kelce and Hill given they combined for nearly 3,000 yards this season.
Yep. As obvious as the Edelman non-muff looked, I was fully prepared for a bad call in that situation. Kudos to the guys in NYC for getting it right. The replay crew in New York was pretty good.
The D was amazing in the first half. Zero points. You’re being way too strict. Like I said, this was KC. The D was amazing overall.
Yeah it’s weird that that ref overturn feels like a big deal but really it meant nothing. That didn't really end up mattering as there was the deflected pick and an immediate KC touchdown like moments later. But still.
Those numbers really tell you the importance of turnovers.KC had a few huge plays to keep them in the game, as you knew they would. But otherwise, this was total domination by the Patriots. Kind of like the Atlanta SB in a way, when you see the final numbers.
Total yards:
- NE 524
- KC 290
TOP:
- NE 43:59
- KC 20:53
First downs:
- NE: 36 (1 by penalty)
- KC: 18 (4 by penalty)
And, incredibly enough, two other turnovers that didn't happen because of an overturn and a penalty. In summary, this game was pretty fucked up in so many ways, but Brady pulled it out because he's the GOAT.Those numbers really tell you the importance of turnovers.
That’s the stat you are missing. It’s amazing how much better you have to be on the road to overcome a -2 turnover ratio.
Yep. Pats were 13/19 on 3rd down and they needed every single one, especially in overtime. Those numbers really tell you the importance of turnovers.
That’s the stat you are missing. It’s amazing how much better you have to be on the road to overcome a -2 turnover ratio.
Yards given up by KC vs. winning teams this year"KC had a few huge plays to keep them in the game, as you knew they would. But otherwise, this was total domination by the Patriots. Kind of like the Atlanta SB in a way, when you see the final numbers.

This NFL offseason needs to revolve around fixing PI. The wildly inconsistent enforcement is ruining games.Jackson got absolutely hosed today. Proud of him for keeping it together after those calls.
Very.Anyway, Anderw Luck is overrated.
Donald is a monster but the secondary can be had.I can't wait to discuss how overrated the Rams defense is for 2 weeks.
Someone start the thread.
A few other very interesting stats from this game.KC had a few huge plays to keep them in the game, as you knew they would. But otherwise, this was total domination by the Patriots. Kind of like the Atlanta SB in a way, when you see the final numbers.

He is currently 30th ALL TIME in postseason rushing TDs.Sony Michel now has 5td's in 2 playoff games. The 5td's is a new playoff record for a rookie.
I'd go as far as saying their entire defense is exploitable except Donald and Talib.Donald is a monster but the secondary can be had.
