That final ten minutes of the half after Sissoko came off are looking huge right now. It knocked Tottenham off their game for just long enough to convert a good chance.

De Gea has been amazing this second half.

Spurs look a little tired, not surprisingly. Of course, we're 80 minutes in and Poch has made only one sub, b/c of injury.

Now here's the sub, Llorente for Winks(?). Poch giving up on midfield entirely and going for broke.

Would have liked to have seen Moura come on, but United deserved the three points.

Why is the Wembley sound system playing the Counting Crows' Mr. Jones? What a strange choice. Is this a subtle dig at Phil Jones?

Also while De Gea was brilliant, Spurs finishing was very, very poor. Countless shots at him. Dele in particular needs to bury that.

I think the best save of the whole game was Lloris on Pogbas flick.

Boly gets a nasty challenge in on Bernardo Silva, studs to ankle, and he's shown a red.

Not dissimilar to Kompany on Salah, though Salah jumped to avoid the majority of contact

Sterling draws a penalty, 2-0

I guess I just don’t see why that’s a red. It’s impossible for him to bring his foot back in the slit second after winning the ball. Did not think Kompanys was bad either.

I agree with you. There’s an argument for recklessness but in this instance Boly is always going to be first to the ball. He goes in like the mangler he is but I don’t like this type of standard being applied to tackles. The Kompany one was an even bigger farce because the contact just wasn’t there but I don’t bother arguing because it’ll just be sour grapes about my team

It was a yellow IMO for recklessness, it wasn’t late but it was high. Red was too harsh.

Wolves usually put up a good fight against top sides but they're getting killed today. 3-0 after an own goal at 78'. Being outshot 21-1. Ball is in the City third only 8%.
