And they beat the team that beat Duke (which all you guys were mysteriously silent about), so as usual the who beat who by how many stuff means nothing.
That was the joke

UCLA lost to liberty. AT HOME.

Fans here are pissed off that they are dragging their feet on changing coaches.

And he throws his players under the bus in the postgame

Last night Penn State's head coach shoved a player coming out of a timeout.

Sorry for the Twitter link but I can't find a GIF of it.

He's done absolutely nothing in his 8 or whatever years at Penn State so I'm curious if this ends up with him fired.

"shoved"? He hit him in the chest to pump him up like "come on you're the star lets go!". As evidenced by the player next to him's reaction.

This is way less interesting than the dude who slammed his head on the backboard going for the block

Chambers with a one-game suspension. The pussification of sports continues.

First early regular season Big East game I’ve watched in a while — St Johns with a thrilling OT win at Georgetown. Intense action, one or two unfortunate choke plays and amazing clutch shots in the end game, really good talent on the floor, Mullin and Patrick on the sideline and Raftery on the mic. Big East is back!

Hoos destroyed FSU today. If it wasn't for FSU pressing late against uva walk ons it would have been a 30 or 40 point win.

Duke with a 14-3 run to open the 2nd half, and now lead Clemson by 18.

Meanwhile, New Mexico who is 7-6, has led from the opening tip against #6 Nevada (14-0). Currently up 15, with 14 minutes to go.

That's ludicrous. If you watch the linked video, its' more like a 540 than a 360. I don't know if he's going to be better than Barrett in the pros, but I think any team that has the #1 pick would be insane to not take Zion. He's going to sell out stadiums the minute he's drafted by someone.

Really..I've watched it 15 times...the hangtime is impressive as fuck...but I'm not sure if he even did a 360?

He does almost a 180 turn after he dunks on his way back down. And that's after he mugs for the crowd behind the rim for a split second after he throws it through, instead of continuing to spin. He definitely cheats on the takeoff and left the ground facing to the right, so he loses some points for that, but that dunk is ludicrous. The fact that his forehead is even with the rim when he flushes it, whereas most guys who do a 360 lose some height in the process, is the icing on the cake. He doesn't get to 540, but he definitely does a full 360 if you look at his feet at takeoff and landing.

I really hope he gets into the NCAA slam dunk contest this year. That could be epic.

Dude, I agree. It's an insane dunk and shows other worldly athleticism. But it was absolutely no where near a 540 dunk as you suggested.

Nor was he fouled.

“"I'm not amazed at that stuff," Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski said. "He can do that. We allow him to do it. There's no ceiling on how high or how many times he can twirl -- as long as he puts the damn thing in."

Lol, twirl.

You want marketing? I'll give you a marketing scenario......Zion is declared ineligible by the NCAA for accepting illegal payment, signs with an agent, signs agreement with NBA to participate in their All-Star Weekend Dunk Contest. Ratings Fvcking Bonanza!!!!

It was a commentary of your ridiculous critique of every call ....every thread. Every post. Every sport. You are very often wrong. Very wrong.
How can you hate on the Death? Red Sox fan, Curse-breaking screen name, lover of Armenian delicacies, and can squeeze in your home closing on short notice. That's the full package right there.

Duke’s freshmen handled their first road game a hell of a lot better than some of their past teams. 24 assists vs 22 made buckets for Wake, 20 combined steals and blocks vs those 22 buckets for Wake. Zion went 13/16 for 30 including 3-4 from 3.

This Saturday in Tallahassee is going to be their first difficult road test. Should be a great challenge. Also loving the fact they play Virginia and (as always) UNC home-and-away this year. Nothing like having a tough schedule during a strong year for the Conference when you’ve got a #1 team.

Markus Howard with 53 tonight for Marquette against Creighton. First player in D1 with multiple 50 point games over 20 years. He's a big time scorer.

Florida State has a lot of athletic, high-energy defenders but they play some ugly offense.

the anti-gonzaga finish. an eye poke ended Jon Scheyer's career (he was with the Miami Heat). Eye pokes scare me. Hope Zion is okay.

Anyone still watching? Syracuse/Duke on their way to overtime. Incredible game to this point.

I missed the injury to Trae Jones earlier. Anyone know what happened? Reddish is out with an illness, I believe, so Duke is playing a bit shorthanded.

He and an orange went for a steal and his arm got twisted behind the body of the orange. It was bad based on his reaction - he was crying on the court. If it’s a labrum he’s done for year, and is the MVP. Hopefully just a sprain

Thanks, I had to watch the overtime on DVR, so just caught up. I'm not sure if I'd call Jones their MVP, but the one team, the absolute one team that you can't lose your all-word point guard against, is Syracuse and that zone defense. If you don't have someone that can crack that zone and penetrate, your screwed. Your left with passing it around the 3 point line and hoping to get a clean look from deep, and then hoping you have a good night shooting. And well, Duke went 9-43 shooting from 3 tonight. It's amazing they made it overtime, and scored almost 91 points, but if Jones doesn't get hurt, they probably blow Syracuse out.

1 didn’t play tonight he was sick ;)
Yep, and considering he's the best shooter on the team, and they lost their point guard, it was literally a perfect storm. Syracuse playing that 3-2 zone just forces you to penetrate through it, or hit open 3's. They lost their best penetrator, and also didn't have their best shooter. And they still almost won. If Zion was out instead of Reddish, they win. If Barrett was out instead of Jones, they win. Basically, the only way they lose is if they don't have Jones and Reddish.

& they hit a 80 foot shot at halftime buzzer*

Anyway, happy to help give an ACC team that will need the help a signature win to get another acc team into the tourney!
