Gonna be physical, 2 yellows that could have been reds will make players feel that plenty will be let go, especially if you keep your feet

Definitely. Lovren has to use his strength there, too easy for a world class player with a yard of space.

City are putting on a clinic with this pressing. Think we’re going to see Sturridge between 60-70’ minutes if City still lead. Wouldn’t mind seeing Fabinho for Henderson, but thats unlikely.

Still can’t believe the Stones clearance, that was absurd in so many ways. Shaqiri would be great to get into midfield around 60’ IMO if this result holds. I think this current setup has a goal in them and I’d want to maintain midfield stability for the first few of half 2

Lovren is who we knew he was, I don’t think there was any doubt that Gomez would slot back in once healthy

Have to bring Shaqiri on for Milner and revert to the 4-2-3-1 .. no more playing for a draw.

Lovren is shite.

For all their possession City not creating much.

Edit: after seeing the replay I think Kompany should have been sent off .. I know I’m biased but that was a very dangerous tackle.

I would have thought Shaqiri and Fabinho would be a pair in for Milner and Henderson
I think Klopp has to keep his options open. He might have to sub Lovren, who's on a yellow. And he might have to bring on a forward late doors. I'd like to see Shaqiri come on as well. he can unlock a few doors in the final third and it looks like Liverpool need some of that.

Brilliant two passes.

Also, I love Klopp taking out his water bottle to squeeze it. Totally normal way to celebrate a goal.

I was just gonna post that Firmino hasn't done anything this match and you'd struggle to know he was on the pitch. What an assist from Robbo.

Am I the only one who kind of wishes the City defender had successfully knocked that ball down with his hand just prior to the goal? PK and a red card sure would have been nice. Not that I'd want to give up the goal but a better chance at 3 points would be nice.

That's pretty cold.
