Can't believe that the genius offensive head coach of the Browns never even considered running a screen or a draw play against a team that was sending just about everyone. They had plenty of time and a timeout, so the clock wasn't the reason.

Was kind of expecting the Browns to run the ball there at least once. Did have a timeout.

Mayfield was really staring down his receivers on that final drive. Is that normal?

Little swing pass, anything would’ve worked. Got a great look at Landry and made a very bad throw.

KC/NE/HOU/PIT/LA/IND would have been the most fun. Shame.

That’s not going to happen. One of those teams will put it all on the line before allowing the Steelers to vulture the spot.
Well Indy absolutely refused to play for tie against all logical sense in week 3 against the Texans so I'm sure you're right.

Nobody outside of the Steelers will be rooting harder for that tie than Nantz.

Agreed - it would take an almost incalculable amount of ineptitude by both teams and sheer chance for that game to end in a tie.

I'd put the odds of it happening at considerably less than the Pats 25 point Super Bowl comeback given the low odds of a tie under normal circumstances and the obvious incentives for both teams here to win, period.

Don't you mean the Titans in London against the Chargers?
Did the Titans do it too? It was week 4 I guess. Colts went for it on 4th and 3 from their own 43 with 27 seconds left (ed in OT) and turned the ball over to Texans who made one play and kicked the GW FG.

You'd need some crazy combination of a clutch Vinatieri FG to tie at the end of regulation, then in OT an inept Titans offense and inexplicable Colts coaching decisions....oh wait....

At least it appears to be non-throwing arm for Foles. Nate Sudfeld starting a playoff game would be awesome, I guess.
It would be funny if the backup to the backup won them another Super Bowl.

SD up 7 points and they are playing Gordon in a meaningless game. He gets injured.
I don't look in the Pats threads, but I hope someone was calling BB to task about leaving Brady in a blowout with 3 minutes to go.

Kittle most yards ever for a TE, on a great catch and run for a TD. That's cool.
He's a stud and assuming he stays healthy, he's going to be tough to deal with for years to come.

The Sons of Brady Anderson should be in full meltdown over their vaunted D's performance at home

They were. But the also weren't running plays where Brady would get tackled.

The upside of a Colts win: Luck could win a shootout against Mahomes.

The upside of a Titans win: Increases the chances of getting the Texans in the Divisional Round.

Re Kittle... You will never convince me that SF wouldn't have done the Jimmy G for a 2nd deal if Belichick had asked for Kittle in the trade.
