This could get almost as ugly as the Panther game. Tampa is playing really well.

JFK and Kampfer going in; Wagner and Clifton coming out.

Marchand - Cave - Pastrnak
Nordstrom - Krejci - DeBrusk
Donato - JFK - Acciari
Heinen - Kuraly - Backes

Krug - Carlo
Moore - Kampfer
Lauzon - Grzelyck

Rask

They haven’t scored more than 3 goals in a game since 11/11, and they’ve only hit 3 twice in the last 10 games (loss to Avs, W vs Habs). Tall task tonight against the Bolts, 3 or 4 goals could not be enough. The Bolts have only been held under 4 goals in 10 of 29 games this year.

On the bright side, the Bolts will give up goals. Dominque hasn’t been great filling in for Vasilevsky. They’ve play a lot of 5-4 type games with Dominique in net.

Wonder if we get a surprise and McAvoy goes in. No real reason to activate him prior to the game otherwise.

Interesting. It's kinda weird that he's unsure whether he'll feel good enough in warmups to play. Isn't that what practices are for?

They always seem to hedge like that when a player is coming back from injury. I don’t think they would’ve made the roster moves today if they weren’t 100% sure he was playing.

Looks like he is in. Lauzon comes out.

Krug - Carlo
Moore - McAvoy
Grzelyck - Kampfer

First the Sox sign Eovaldi, and then we get our McAvoy back??!!

All we needed to make it a perfect day was for the Bruins to sign a guy like Gemel Smith....

WAIT. They did that, too??!!!

What a wonderful day!

If the Bruins played in Florida like they did the first 10 minutes of this game, they might have crushed them.

Tampa caught up fast, though.

And of course, a shorty now for the Bolts. No margin for error. Thanks for playing.

This is brutal. The scoring woes aren’t entirely on the injuries.
It’s center play. No Bergeron. Krejci and Backes are shells of themselves. It’s hard for young wingers that aren’t elite players like Pastrnak to score with bad centers. I’m not sure it’s a fixable issue this season.
