Wouldn't be surprised if it was Backes instead of Marchand, he has worn it in the past.

I'm really sad about Bergeron going down. Who knows how many season he has left in him like he was having. 33, with a lot of miles is not young for the NHL.

Fuck.

Krejci, Marchand and Backes wore the A’s in Arizona.

Miller is back, and it appears that Cave won’t play tomorrow. They’ll roll the same forward lines as Saturday.

Bjork - Krejci - Pastrnak
Marchand - Nordstrom - DeBrusk
Heinen - JFK - Acciari
Wagner - Kuraly - Backes

Grzelyck - Miller
Krug - Clifton
Lauzon - Kampfer

Rask

JFK had was decent last weekend. They’re really going to need him now. Hopefully he plays well enough to earn some minutes with Marchand and DeBrusk.

Honestly, the Bergeron injury could make JFK's career. If he responds well, he's likely the 3C moving forward. If he tanks continuously, I have to wonder if that will follow him around the rest of his career. He's very young, but this is a pivotal moment for him.

As much as I usually agree with Jack+Brick's tangents, the net came off the post because DeKuyzer's stick broke on it after he was checked into it.

"Jack and Brick's Tangents" is the name of my Springsteen cover band that starts playing "Born to Run" and then loses focus and just jams for a few hours.

Yeah, that's what I was going for. I generally like Jack, but that clearly wasn't intentional.

Good first, great defensive layers outside of the last 2 minutes or so. Start putting some chances away in the next one.

Back from vacation and my first B's game in 3 weeks. The Detroit feed I'm watching is terrible...

And if Heinen could just get stronger on the puck...

Goal, then Mike Green literally skated a circle around him, then a beautiful pass to Acciari who of course did nothing with it. The adventures of JFK

Holy wow Clifton's interview on NESN was fantastic. Had no idea what he was doing, had no idea what happened on the ice, talked over Alex constantly, and was completely in information overload trying to process the game at NHL speed. He was also clearly having the time of his life.

Yeah, he did the same thing the other night. I wonder if the other guys/coaches get a kick out of sending him out there for it.

Clifton is a good story. 5th round pick by the Coyotes, played 4 years at Quinnipiac. Went unsigned, turned a development camp invite from the Bruins into a contract. A year later he’s in the NHL.
