Chelsea Currently 1-0 against Utd as we head into half time. I haven't looked at any of the stats but to my eyes, Utd haven't pressed or pushed Chelsea who have mostly coasted through the half. Hazard is playing well within himself, i feel he could turn it on at any time.

The goal came from a corner, a fine header from Rudiger. Pogba through a minor hissy fit, Possibly intimating that he was blocked by his own player when trying to carry out his defensive/blocking duties at said set piece.

If Lukaku got a kick of the ball i must have missed it. (I did wash a few dishes).

Edit: Having watched a replay of the goal, Pogba was gesticulating to his own player prior to the taking of the kick, but it looks like Pogba who lost his man.

Real Madrid just broke their 481 minute scoreless streak. Longest in their history.

Still down 2-1 to Levante, though.

Martial scores another - 1-2 in favour of Jose's Red Devils. Bit of coupon buster as they say over here. Chelsea have scored a few late goals so far this season. Can they come back? (Jose must be loving this.)

Chelsea tied it in the last minute of stoppage time and then everything went completely off the rails. This is hilarious

WTF happened there? Did somebody run by Jose and say something? Who was it?

That was nuts. I actually almost feel a little bad for Jose, but it would have been crazy to see him actually get after it in the tunnel.

Wow Jose telling the Stamford Bridge Faithful 'Three' holding out three fingers, indicating the number of Premier League Titles he won for the best fans in the world

One of the Chelsea backroom staff ran by him in celebration, clearly taken by the moment and celebrated right in front of Jose.

Post match interview should be good.

I can’t stand him but good for Jose for holding up the 3 while getting showered with “fuck off Mourinho” chants

Jorge Jesus once “misspoke” and referred to Madrid’s manager as Flopetegui. Intentional or not, it’s a perfect description. He couldn’t handle the Porto job and Madrid is a hot seat few can deal with. This is a classic set for failure.

That was a classic ending to the Chelsea-United match. Reminded me of the good old days of Roy Keane trying to wring Viera’s neck before kick off.

Despite Spurs having spent a ton of money this summer addressing their obvious central midfield issues, they still look deficient in that area.

I thought Chelsea were listless in the second half. United played with energy and they deserved the point (at least) but Chelsea could have won this game if they had gone forward in the second half with the kind of intent they've shown all season. ManU's defense, including defensive midfield, leaves a lot to be desired. It's really showing how DeGea saved their asses last year by playing out of his mind. They can be had but Chelsea didn't do it today. It was less ManU quality in defense than Chelsea kind of halfassing their way through the second half on attack IMO.

Huddersfield are down 0-1 at 83' to Liverpool - a nice Salah goal. But Huddersfield have played well. They haven't parked the bus, they've tried to get forward and have had some success (possession and shots are about even). They'll feel disappointed not to get at least a point out of this.

Seems like overreactions by everyone there, especially Mourinho.

Chalk it up to the shock/disappointment if you want, but beforehand I would’ve put the odds of “Chelsea score in 6’ if stoppage time to earn a draw” at something close to 100% despite being flat the whole 2d half

Goodison Park sounds like it could be hosting a funeral. I have never heard a stadium so quiet. I feel like I can hear individual conversations in the crowd.

It was for the first half. I’m overdue for an Everton roundup- Cliff note version is that things are moving in the right direction but not quite there yet, especially at home- the fans are still a bit in wait and see mode. The late goals will help surely

Repurposing for European matches this week...

Great pickup by Shaqiri in midfield to drive forward and find Robertson making a run to the touch line, cuts it back to Firmino, 1-0
